Eye caught 4 L's in a row, got 2 free wins over nobodys and was gifted the decision over chookagian.
Araujo's 1st decision win was over Alexis with a better resume than eye. Odds are spot on, eye is gonna get her pretty face beaten...just like she has for the past 4 years

I think Faber has a decent chance at beating Yan with a guillotine because MMA is weird

Well ****, Song's ground game was just proven to be rudimentary to a high level wrestler.
Yan only beat Andrade and Rivera, both those guys strikers. Faber is one of the best wrestler-grapplers in ufc history.

@Axl I'm 90% sure Yan is going to utterly merk Faber. Yan is an excellent fighter. Excellent. First guy to ever Finish Andrade with strikes, beat Rivera who is very good and Rivera fought a perfect fight that bout. Yan is very likely the future champ.

Yan narrowly got through Rivera. He outperformed yan in every aspect. Faber/Rivera was anyone's fight.
Yan's athleticism and crisp hands can put a beating on anybody, but Faber has gyms full of juiceheads and fighters just as good.
If it weren't for age, this would be a 50/50 fight in my opinion

nobody and gifted a win hahaha just because it differs from your opinion doesn't make it any less credible lmao she's won 3 out of her last 4 and beat the person currently scheduled to challenge for the title? but sure make your narrative fit it if ya want man. Araujo has fought a cast of nobodies including Bernardo, and a 19-8 Alexis Davis. those are def career defining wins I guess? I get that we have a difference in opinions but what benefit do you get out of discrediting a fighter for the people they beat?

Covington and Volkanovsky have serious shots. Nunes dominated GDR before and I don't think much has changed. All great fights nonetheless.

GDR is a better striker than Nunes by quite a margin. In distance GDR has a good shot of icing her but she'd need to do it with one, which is very unlikely. She can't follow Nunes to the ground. I think Nunes subs her this time around.

Technically I agree; and GDR seems to actually be one of the few women with power as well (like Nunes). Should be fun but like I said, we've seen this fight before, and I don't think there's anything different this time around.

@Ax true, but Uriah didn't fight the Jimmy that Yan did. Rivera fought like a ******* demon against Yan...he did everything right and still lost. I hope Yan isn't too heavy of a favorite because if he isn't I might even straight bet him, regardless he'll definitely be going in a parlay.

Schevchenko was the only girl to equalize and beat nunes and they still robbed her of that victory.
Germaine hasn't progress much and is nowhere near the durability and level of valentina.
she had to fight dirty just to get the decision over old holm lol
I give germaine lesser of a chance than Nunes' next 3 opponents combined.

Volkanovski will beat Holloway. I know Holloway is a ****** stud and arguably top 1 or 145 all time but i ant gst past all the long hRd fights taking lotz of heD strikes. Volk is gonna hit him hatd and fast quickly and Holloway may be finished.
De randMie beats nunes by TKO.
Covington nreaks Usmsn with not stop pressure!

I think Volkanovski decisions Holloway. I'm not sure it will be particularly exciting, because I am confident he's going to beat him up against the fence. He will force him back by feinting doubles and hitting singles. Holloway hasn't fought a a guy like Volkanovski. You could argue Frankie is, but Frankie is in the twilight of his career and isn't anywhere near as aggressive, big or strong. And unlike Frankie Volkanovski can hurt you big time with one. There's simply no way Alexander will make the mistake of staying at the end of Holloway's punches...he's just not going to do it. That leaves a clinch/grappling battle with exchanges in intimate range and the shorter guy with better wrestling chops wins those fights most of the time. Volkanovski will not gas. He'll grind out a UD,
Not sold on GDR yet but I do stand by my opinion that she's a better pure striker. Much cleaner, much better footwork, much better straight power shots in particular. Mollywhopping Ladd doesn't prove that much, Ladd is a midget who can't throw hands.

Usman vs Covington is harder to think about. I don't know who's the better wrestler. At first I thought it was Usman, but Kamaru was Div 2, and Covington was Div 1. Not that this is the be all and end all but it does mean something. It gets murkier when you consider that Woodley was Div 1 and Usman basically pushed his **** in when it came to the wrestling....he was able to reverse Tyrone pretty easily, and Woodley is a big ass strong dude.
