Predictions: 4 of 4 Winners, 0 Perfect, 215 Points   |   Tied for 2626th

Nunes vs. de Randamie II
Amanda Nunes, SUB, R2
I have picked against Nunes several times and it has cost me in the past. Not this time. GDR seems too casual to me coming into this fight. Too comfortable. I expect her to look for a way out early in this fight. I can see Nunes getting this to the ground and getting the sub after a knockdown. I will be playing the under 2.5 rounds in this fight which has much less juice to it than Nunes on the ML. I also think the Nunes by sub prop in the +400 range has value.

Aldo vs. Moraes
Marlon Moraes, TKO, R2
This is a great fight. Who ever thought these 2 would square off. Aldo seems to have pulled off the drop to 135 but at what cost. Moraes has everything in front of him to stay at the front of the line for a title shot. A win here keeps him in line for a rematch with Cejudo. The line does not leave a ton of value but I think Marlon gets the W.

Ok so...

I feel like there is going to be ONE champ that loses their belt.  Now the most obvious choice seems to be the main event right? Well I think, and I could TOTALLY be completely wrong here, Nunes is going to get knocked out and lose her belt. Have a gut feeling here that someone is going to lose. I've thought about this for a month or so now and instead of going with the obvious choice here I'm going to jump on the other side of the spectrum.

There's a lotof other reasons I feel this way, little signs here and there. I dont feel like writing a book about so we will just have to see tomorrow.

Just remember you read it here first guys!

What? Other people are picking GDR? Well I may not be first, but hey, you DID read it here. See you tomorrow!

Been thinking about that too Joe. Haven't pulled the trigger yet, but when you look up what Nunes' TDA is...yeah. There's a good shot it stays standing and she loses the striking battle. That stated I just can't get past the fact if Nunes somehow winds up on top of her, especially early in a round, GDR is done.

Don't mind Usman's face paint but it's pretty weird the build up of this fight he keeps talking about how much more American he is than Colby... Yet reps his home country! (nothing wrong with the latter, it's just funny)

I said it months ago, check the record(thread) bud!
I aint changing  now!  I am slightly less confident in my Covington pick but I cant figure if that sbecause he's a ****** eejit, I do let my feelings sway picks(like a real snowflake!)of the wrasslin expert I listened to breakdown n detail how Usmans D2 class was far superior to Colbys D1, remember Woodley was D1 All American outta Missouri, 1 of the best college wrestling programmes you'll get.  Hhhmmm, not long to pull the trigger. Waivering on Volk too coz its ****** Max Holloway you know!!!
I'll prob do my classic change my picks that I've been confident off for months up til the day of the fight. Then watch in sheer rage as my original picks all win dominantly!!!!

Holloway vs. Volkanovski
Alexander Volkanovski, DEC
Shorter than Holloway, but has a longer reach that he uses consistently to jab and size up his opponent. Don't expect Alex to take down Max, but he can win the fight standing in a likely battle of jabs and feints.

Nunes vs. de Randamie II
Amanda Nunes, TKO, R1
Nunes will have the edge both on the feet and ground.

Aldo vs. Moraes
José Aldo, DEC
Assuming the weight cut doesn't affect Aldo.

Yan vs. Faber
Petr Yan, DEC
But a lopsided decision win.

That's probably because you only hang around casual fans who only like the fighters that Dana White tells them to.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 9 of 13 Winners, 3 Perfect, 580 Points   |   Tied for 240th

Usman vs. Covington
Kamaru Usman, DEC
Wellllll... I hope Usman can do what he said he's gonna do @ ceremonial weigh-in's to Joe Rogan. He said "He's gonna drill the nails into his coffin." Atleast I have hope in the fact that Kamaru is a better fighter, than he is a genius. Because well, last time I checked... Nails aren't drillable. Anyways. I'm hopeful that that both clip each other on the chin at the same exact time and Knock each other out. Similar to Fedor vs. Mitrione. But I want them both KO'd cold. Double whammy losses.

Holloway vs. Volkanovski
Alexander Volkanovski, DEC
Idk why, I love Max. But I have this ill feeling in my gut headed into this fight. I think Volkanovski can outpower Max. And make for an ugly night for the champ.

Nunes vs. de Randamie II
Amanda Nunes, TKO, R2
I knoooow, theoretical Nunes should not trade with GDR. But I think she's too powerful. If she makes it an ugly, nasty fight. She could sleep GDR. I still think it's risky, but she still wins by KO/TKO in my honest opinion

Aldo vs. Moraes
Marlon Moraes, DEC
I'm still not thrilled about a 135lb Aldo, 33 fights deep into a hall of fame career. I just can't see how shedding 10lbs, has now made him feel the best of his career. That he's "NEVER felt better, faster, stronger and more powerful than he did at Featherweight. I just don't see it. And his ability to take a shot. Will it be similar to Dillashaw's ability to NOT take a punch 10lbs south? Have to take my favorite Bantamweight ever...

Yan vs. Faber
Petr Yan, DEC
Maaaan... Talks of Faber getting a title shot with a win here, leaves me speechless. But I'm not surprised. Considering how the UFC does things now

Perry vs. Neal
Geoff Neal, TKO, R2
I remember having my nose broke for the 2nd time, I didn't want anyone coming near that thing for months... Longer than 4months. And Perry's nose was one of the worst broken noses I've ever seen. His nose ended up on the side of his head. As if playing with a Mr. Potato Head. I think Geoff Neal is a terrible fight back to reeeaally test that reconstructed nose in full combat. Sure, he's been sparring with it in camp, but you really think that nose was tested like Geoff Neal is gonna do? Neal is on a ******* tear man. Since dropping that fight to Kevin Holland in January 2017, he's rattled off 6 straight wins. That war with Frank "The Crank" Camacho.... Maaaan whaaat a fight. What a KO. That is what I think of when I think Geoff Neal. OTHER THAN THAT NOSE, Mike Perry is an outstanding dance partner for Fight of the Night.

Brown vs. Saunders
Matt Brown, TKO, R2
Sooooo ******* happy to see Matt Brown back. He's also one of those guys, that you can't help but enjoy watching. And he's a recovering heroin addict. Guys ALWAYS get my respect just for that. MMA helped save him. It's a goood back story that unfortunately, Alotta ppl can relate to. Ben Saunders is a good opponent to come back to. When you look at it on paper, you're 1st thought is probably that Saunders will get trashed. But...... He's ONLY 4 days past, from it being exact, that he's only fought 1x, since December 2016. 1 time. While Ben Saunders has had 7 fights in that same span of time. Yessss, he's lost 5 of those 7, and been pretty badly KO'd a few times, and 2x in a row recently. My ONLY worry for Matt Brown, is those Muay Thai knees to the body. Brown, like Cowboy Cerrone has been susceptible to body shots in the past. I still want to see Matt Brown vs. Carlos Condit rescheduled

Teymur vs. Hooper
Chase Hooper, SUB, R2
Always get these Teymur kids mixed up. But I can see how this goes. Teymur will blow thru the majority of his gas tank and then Hooper will even easier now, strangle Teymur mid - late R2

Eye vs. Araujo
Viviane Araujo, DEC
Jessica Eye's confidence is loooong dead & gone. Like that song. Crazy how 2 or 3 fights can change EVERYTHING.

"**** Fentanyl & **** Opiates too..."

Predictions: 8 of 13 Winners, 2 Perfect, 505 Points   |   Tied for 729th

Usman vs. Covington
Kamaru Usman, DEC
If this fight won't be NC - I will be in shock, I think Colby will see that he is losing and pull a DQ or a NC move

Holloway vs. Volkanovski
Max Holloway, DEC
Everybody is great - until they meet the Blessed train and even that I root for him - I know MH is way too much for this guy

Nunes vs. de Randamie II
Amanda Nunes, TKO, R1
GDR is not a legit fighter...she didn't want to fight Cyborg because she know that cyborg is way too powerful for her and she is dirty fighter that lost the fight against Holm so as far as I can tell- The lioness will finish this too quick, it is time that nunes will face the woman that beat her twice, because the rest of them just not good enough to last 2 rounds

Aldo vs. Moraes
Marlon Moraes, TKO, R1
Aldo is one of the great BUT I don't think 135 is good for him, the weight cut is too brutal for him, magic finish him with high kick

Yan vs. Faber
Petr Yan, DEC
Yan is a boring fighter...but his style will help me go though Faber( I wish i will be wrong and the kid will finish this snoozer)

Perry vs. Neal
Geoff Neal, TKO, R2
don't get me wrong, I wish Platinum could fight but his nose is a target and the referee will stop the fight

Vieira vs. Aldana
Ketlen Vieira, DEC
Vieira is solid fighter, she won't last against Nunes but she will sail to win over Aldana

Heinisch vs. Akhmedov
Omari Akhmedov, DEC
Wolverine will not fight Ian fight and there for...this fight will be great, both fighters will bleed but If since i can't put a draw, I will say Wolverine by MD, 29-28,28-28X2

Brown vs. Saunders
Ben Saunders, SUB, R1
Killa B is great on the ground and I think "The Immortal" doesn't need to come back

Teymur vs. Hooper
Chase Hooper, SUB, R1
Teymur is not top 15 fighter in my opinion, Hopper does and he have HUGE reach so RNC it is

Moreno vs. Kara-France
Kai Kara-France, DEC
I don't think we will see a finish but solid fight we will get

Eye vs. Araujo
Viviane Araujo, TKO, R3
Eye can win this fight but I see her losing this fight because she doesn't want to pull the plug, I think vivi will win but only because eye will fade away

Soriano vs. Piechota
Punahele Soriano, TKO, R1
I think we will get good start for this night

@brad, Usman no genius - so true, drillin nails hahah ... had a nice laugh there!!!

The shark hopes he'll be enough to shut that other non- genius's mouth for good with the drillin or not

I do agree on your assessments so far but I see Holloway retaining what's his in a five rounder and Perry coming back like the PLATINUM he is, K.O inside 2 rounds

Anyway can't w8 and want this to start so bad !!!! Great night of fights we have in front of us

Colby and Usman are almost identical at everything. Im even 9-2 picking both their fights. Picked Usman to beat Caceres and lose to Yakovlev. And picked Colby to beat Warlley but lose to Pyle.
