Predictions: 8 of 12 Winners, 2 Perfect, 490 Points | Tied for 824th
Font, DEC
Simon in every fight misses a lot of punches that almost reach knockout and the battle with Faber is a confirmation of that. Many people think that Simon has good takedowns, but Font has a brown belt and I think he can protect himself from takedowns. Certainly better in the rack Font

Is anyone else forecasting Struve to just pick Rothwell apart with kicks?

Jairzinho Rozenstruik, TKO, R1
At this point if overeem turns his head too fast he gets concussed. Hard to imagine rozenstruik not getting it done fast yet again

Bryce Mitchell, DEC
Matt Sayles might feel good in percussion technique, but he can't boast of anything on the carpet. If you recall the fight against Nelson, where Nelson controlled the entire 2 round on the carpet, after which Sayles started having problems with cardio. Mitchell feels great 3 rounds

Alistair Overeem, TKO, R1
I know Overeem is a glass canon, but if Junior Albini could take Rozenstruik down at will, I trust Overeem to survive the first scary punches and finish him by TKO in the first round, à la Struve or Pavlovich.

Joe Solecki, SUB, R1
Easy to vote for a -350 fave but was kinda scared to include in real money parlay or straight cuz I saw Wiman trying to work that leg/ankle crank and Lima is scary as ****. That being said prolly wont happen :)
Smith vs. Muradov
Makhmud Muradov, TKO, R1
Same as Solecki easy to vote for dude but I have no interest betting real money on this guy at -400, its prolly free money tho

Jairzinho Rozenstruik, TKO, R1
if reem wrestles, this could be his fight. if he opts to trade for fun, then it could be over early. i'm picking the latter.
Calvillo vs. Rodriguez
Marina Rodriguez, DEC
if calvillo doesn't get on top, then i think she's at a striking disadvantage. kind of a crapshoot though, neither girl is really dominant.
Struve vs. Rothwell
Stefan Struve, DEC
not sure struve will ever use his reach fully, but i think his cardio/heart is better than this stage of ben rothwell.
Ladd vs. Kunitskaya
Aspen Ladd, DEC
yana has a decent ground game so i'm expecting aspen to play a crisper boxing game in between cage pressure and changing levels. not too much time in any one area at a time.
Stamann vs. Song
Yadong Song, DEC
stamann just wants to wrestle and i think yadong will be prepared for that sort of gameplan.
Font vs. Simón
Rob Font, DEC
lineker is pretty similar to simon and that makes me feel like font will be ready for that kind of aggression this time.
Alves vs. Means
Tim Means, DEC
feeling like a loser-leaves-town vibe will make these guys fight a little more conservatively and that favors means in my mind because he's got better range.
Kilburn vs. Quarantillo
Billy Quarantillo, DEC
coin flip really, not enough familiarity with each.
Mitchell vs. Sayles
Bryce Mitchell, DEC
the man nearly lost his sack to power drill, middling competition like sayles isn't gonna deter him from putting his all in.
Wiman vs. Solecki
Joe Solecki, DEC
wiman didn't look totally lost against pena, but i'm expecting young talent to be too much for him even if it's seemingly mediocre young talent.
Jandiroba vs. Martin
Virna Jandiroba, DEC
felt virna did enough to get the nod over carla so this is really a step down in that case. martin has heart, but not sure that'll be enough to stop herself from getting dragged around.
Smith vs. Muradov
Makhmud Muradov, DEC
if smith can make this a grind, then he certainly has a chance, but i'm expecting him to realize his chin's limitation early and spend the fight trying to hide it.

Yadong Song, TKO, R2
This is a striker versus Grappler match. Yadong is the fast pwerful volume striker with great takedown defense vs Stamann who is the powerful and durable wrestler lookng for the takedown most of the time. Yadong is a great striker with great timing on his strikes and counter strikes. Stamann got great wrestling but his BJJ aint that good. He doesnt stay in top position for that long. Yadong will clip him for sure but Stamann is tuff and he might not get KOed. If he doesnt Yadong will win via decision. But the problem is Stamann is an American judges might look his way. So Song Yadong should go for the KO. Probably early in round 2

Yana Kunitskaya, DEC
I hope Kunitskaya will defend herself well against takedowns and will not allow herself to be transferred to the ground. Following her page on social networks, she was not bad at preparing for a fight
