Masvidal should know that diaz primarily should do well on the ground and thus know to avoid going to the ground. As far the stand up, Masvidal has got some pretty good kickboxing combinations; Hiding punches with strikes and probing his opponents reactions pretty well.
Gastelum vs. Till
Darren Till, DEC
Definitely going to be an upclose dog fight. If Darren Till can circle out decently well and avoid most of the overhand strikes and dirty boxing of gastelum along with the level changes, I think darren till might have a chance to take the cake. Specifically because of the longer range; he just has to find a way to deal with the pressure of a dirty boxer/wrestler.
Thompson vs. Luque
Vicente Luque, TKO, R3
Just watched some luque footage. Seems like he can hang under stress pretty well and has been on a winning streak. Pretty young and not even in his prime just yet. Should be a good bout, looking forward to it.

Walker is extremely difficult to deal with in an all out striking battle. Should come out on top for this one. Wrestling defense should be up to par hopefully.

Seriously, the amount of hype and credibility that Jorge and Nate have as fighters and knowing that they do respect each other as such is something that is rare in the UFC nowadays. Boxing rarely gets this too.
Where there are no faces or heels, both of the guys respect each other, and we expect violence. Not wolf tickets of timidity that we got from hype jobs like Lewis vs Ngannou and Guida vs Maynard.
Even though the BMF Title is basically a Gimmick Joke Belt, the justification Jorge and Nate have had given each other for being a no nonsense ************ is something to behold.This fight sold itself. I don't expect this type of fight to happen again to be honest.
McGregor couldn't get this to happen, it's not in his character, GSP can't get this to happen, Silva, Jones, anyone that has a belt right now doesn't really have that perfect compliment to make this happen. This is that fight. Sad it isn't for a legit title, but I'm ok with this.
I hope this goes the full 5 rounds, and I mean that with the fullest respect.

Masvidal has no doubt looked great catching Till and Askren, but I can't forget that in many of his previous fights he was frustratingly reluctant to apply the pressure necessary to win.
I see this fight being close for the first 1-3 rounds, but I think Diaz is going to maintain the higher volume and win a decision.
Overall this is a tough card to pick, a lot of really great matchups really looking forward to this one!!
