He was competitive with Luke until the brain fart/world's worst spinning back kick, the Mousasi loss was very controversial, and he was winning the Jacare fight before getting caught which is the mirror image of the Kelvin fight. And he even won the 1st against Yoel.
But what really makes the statement laughable are the 3 champs that followed him:
1) Rockhold - 0 defenses & lost to ....
2) Bisping - struggled like hell to avenge his loss to Hendo (older than Vitor) & then lost the belt after more than a year dodging a fight with any of the real contenders.
3) Whittaker - because of Bisping & the interloper not wanting real fights, never got to face any previous title holder AND never technically defended the belt because Yoel missed weight.
So compared to those 3, dethroning an all-time great & defending successfully 3 times looks pretty damn good.

Fishrat's premise is laughable with only a wisp of truth to it. Beating Silva wasn't a fluke. Weidman will always and would have always beat Anderson. Bad style matchup; Weidman is a disciplined striker who won't lunge stupidly like Forrest & a very good wrestler ( as long as he's on top) with great sub defense.
As you'd expect from someone who only recently figured out how to use pencils, and can't be around leggo owing to the fact it's a choking hazard, the reading comprehension demonstrated here is accordingly roughly that of a remedial English student with a Ritalin prescription. He is like a monkey trying fish out the moon reflected in a pool.
I never said the Silva win was a fluke. I said he got fed Silva at the right time, and he did. Prior to that fight Silva had fought Okami, Sonnen, Bonnar. Decent fighters, not world beaters. And the one strong wrestler he faced in sonnen gave him fits in the first fight. He wasn't in his prime when he took the Weidman loss, and Chris was. Weidman was still able to carry his awful boxing defense and rudimentary, plodding striking on his chin at that point, which is what he has always done and still tries to do. Silva's reflexes weren't what they used to be. He simply couldn't slip the way he used to able to and got KO'ed.
'Disciplined striker' is just pants-on-head ********. No disciplined striker is 1-5 in his last six, with all of those losses being KO/TKO's. He's a ******* terrible striker who spams the same straight to slip hook over and over. Moreover, he gets lit up in every fight. Belfort was lighting him up in the first round before gassing, which is what Vitor without PEDS did. Make no mistake, supermutant Vitor would have ended him within one. Easily.
Gastelum floored him in the first, and likely would have finished him if there had been more time in the round. Weidman had to resort to his physicality (brute force) to beat Gastelum, who isn't a real MW, just a fat Welter. In typical deluded fashion, he went on to say that he was never in trouble at any point in the fight. The Mousasi fight wasn't controversial to anyone who understands the rules of MMA and how it is scored, which Mule does not. Right now he is trying to learn the spell that shrinks sailing boats and puts them in bottles. He is capable of eating, and doing a semi-passable job at wiping his ass, and that's about it. As a child he dreamed of going to University to learn how to use a broom. Moving on, Weidman was getting lit up, having burned himself out grappling for no result, and tried to milk an injury to get the win. He tried to cheat, and it backfired.
Strawman, ladies and gentleman--the last desperate bastion of morons everywhere. And MMA math. Floyd knows there's no good case to make for Weidman as a Champ, so he has to resort to comparisons with other bad champions, but he's such a mouth-breather that not even these make sense. Firstly, Weidman was ass****** horribly by both Rockhold and Romero. In fact, both of those defeats rank among the most brutal in MW history. Despite Mule's contention that Rockhold is a Bum, said Bum literally made Chris cry tears of blood. Chris had to his face stiched back on post-fight. So the guy that beat Weidman to death is worse than Weidman. Great logic. Rockhold would have beaten Belfort, Machida, and yes Silva too--he just didn't get those fights and Chris did. He did beat Machida.
" Buh Weidman wonna first row gainst Yoel'!
lol. Ridiculous. On planet derp where Mulefloyd sits on a park bench picking his ear with a chicken bone and thinking about where baby Ants go to school, everyone he's picked incorrectly gets a proxy victory and so does he because they were winning a fight until they lost it. This is the key to understanding why he persists in the belief that Whittaker wasn't Better than Weidman, despite the fact he beat Yoel twice, and Yoel literally jumped kneed Weidmans ******* brains out--all 50 grams of them.
In summation, Mulefloyd takes the short white bus to Tapology, and literally every opinion he gives about anything can and should be dismissed out of hand.
