11/4 Weekend Contest: Second City Derby

Yes, every weekend contest from here on out is going to have a random, pointless theme. It will be selected by the prior contest's winner if they so choose. However crimedawg92, last weekend's winner, might not even know he/she won the contest.  Therefore using my executive powers, I have decided that with UFC 138 headed to Birmingham, England, that a theme of Second City Derby is most fitting.





We've got 4 events lined up for your fight-picking pleasure this weekend.  Get those picks in!!!

Superior Cage Combat 3 is Friday from Las Vegas, Nevada



UFC 138 is Saturday from Birmingham, England



ProElite 2 is Saturday from Moline, Illinois



Armageddon FC 7 is Saturday from Colwood, British Columbia





Contest Prizes:
First place will be 600 points, second place will be 300 points, and third place will be 150 points.  The champion also takes home  R1zla's work of art:



Scoring:
Contest scoring uses regular Tapology scoring. You get 50 points for every fight you pick correctly, and extra points if you perfectly call the fight via decision or the method+round combination.  To score high and have a chance at winning the contest you'll need to pick as many of the fights as possible. Tapology is filled with fight-picking savages, so you'll need to bring your A-game.

How to enter:
Just pick the fights and you'll be automatically entered. No need to do anything else.

@wake99, probably down-thumbed it cause they dont understand it. Just in case.. UFC 138 is in Birmingham. Two massive football (soccer) teams, Aston Villa and Birmingham have a massive rivalry as they both come from Birmingham. :p Some games are INTENSE.

alright I have a confession boys...up until now I hadn't been picking nearly every fight and I had created another account to do so "wickeymickeyfickey" because I wanted to have one of the best percentages. But I found myself logged on to my other account on fight nights and it made it a lot more interesting for me ... after still having a 66% the last two weekends and almost getting top 10 last week and knowing they're planning on implementing a UFC prediction record in the future, I've decided to scrap wickey and start picking every fight, I'm coming for the belt 1st week!

Dual-accounts are against the rules, the punishment is banishment. You'll never be heard from again once a mod see's this.

MMAMessiah is a good guy and an active poster, he'll be fine.

I'm pretty sure I seen Soccerkick or another black belt talking about doing almost the exact same thing in last week's contest. And why is it bad that I wanted an account with my UFC pick percentage because those are the fights I care about and that I'm good at. But then also wanted to be involved in the contests and discuss all the other events, after a while it just made it way more enjoyable so I said the hell with it and decided to do it on my main account, and owned up to it. I don't see what is wrong with that.
