Cormier vs. Miocic II
Stipe Miocic, TKO, R2
Cormier comes in lighter this time says to me he plans on making this a higher pace grappling match and will try to wear Miocic down. It probably is the right game plan because no matter what anybody says even Cormier was surprised when the punch he landed was as effective as it was. That kind of shot will be very hard to duplicate. So I expect Cormier to do what he always does and it has worked vs everyone not named Jon Jones until now. My pick is Miocic to get the KO this time. There is a reason the HW belt is so hard to defend and Cormier is about to find out why. To me Miocic is the best HW of all time. This pick is no slight to Cormier but I feel Miocic learned plenty from the last fight and will get the KO that he maybe took for granted in the first meeting.

Cormier vs. Miocic II
Daniel Cormier, TKO, R3
I think Stipe can use his reach advantage and keep DC off of him early, but DC will grind him out and finish him in the 3rd or 4th by TKO

Diaz vs. Pettis
Anthony Pettis, TKO, R1
Heavy leg kicks to the lead leg of Diaz followed by big body shots, Pettis has good power at 170 and can surprise Diaz who's been out of the game for 3 years

Romero vs. Costa
Paulo Costa, DEC
Both fighters have proven to be tough, and although I want to say there's levels to this game and Romero is on that "next level", I'll be pulling for the young hungry lion to mix things up in the division.

Most of yoels past fights have gone to rd 3! I think over 1.5 rds prop bet is a great bet at -120 odds for the Yoel vs Costa fight! 🦈

Yoel Romero has finished 12 of 16 fights. His KO/TKO rate is 85%. He has finished 50% of last five fights, and has only lost the other 50% to the current champ by decision--one of which you could argue he won. Costa has won all of his fights bar three by first round finish, and has never seen a third round.

Did you actually see how many times Hall put leather on Costa? If he's that open against Romero he's gonna get smoked. Fast.

Not gonna win rookie of the year, are you champ?

I've got an idea. Why don't you 2 go up against each other in a picks game? Settle who's got the best picks, instead of constantly going at each other.

What the **** is up with this dude? I put my insight on a bet pick and this dude always has ******* **** to say. All of Yoels fights have gone to rd 3. Betting the over 1.5 Rds is actually a good bet.

Most of Costas fights have gone past rd 1 as well in (UFC)

And I’m not going after anyone? ***? I didn’t go after anyone first. I give my insight and the dude starts his **** talking. You’re Hella annoying. ******* relax man. Go get your tampon.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 5 of 12 Winners, 3 Perfect, 325 Points   |   Tied for 2134th

Cormier vs. Miocic II
Daniel Cormier, SUB, R3
Miocic is lighter than DC, that surprised me. He's always weighed in at around 240/45. Wonder what the drop in weight is for? Obvious answer is he's gonna try stick and move for DEC or late TKO, maybe I don't ****** know with this fight???!!! If Stipe is thinking that its gonna be hard to keep DC the tank at bay! Another way I see this fight is DC pressures takedowns gets the back sinks in the choke. Not hard to come up with that as that's what DC does!!! I'm all over the shop with this 1. Probably make a rash decision 5minutes before picks lock as I tend to do!!!!

Yusuff vs. Benítez
Gabriel Benítez, DEC
I think for the 1st time ever I agree with Colby Jr, feels dirty!!!. But Yusuff is way too big a favourite here! Benetiz is good, better camp, more well rounded and isn't coming into this fight witg the expectation that Yusuff is being a big favourite and the new prospect! I think I'm taking Benitez here!

Bermudez vs. Kenney
Casey Kenney, DEC
Bermudez missed weight AGAIN!!! He must move to 145 next! I was gonna take Kenney here anyway as I think if you avoid tge obvious submission danger Bermudez aint all that good! 5might change my mind but I think Kenney can use his wrestling in reverse and outstrike Bermudez pretty easily and as the fight goes into later rounds he can work tge clinch maybe even throw in a takedown against a tired and drained Bermudez.

Cifers vs. Esquibel
Hannah Cifers, DEC
Womens MMA! Anything can happen!!! Esquibel is pretty trash but I see no reason to have so much faith in a cifers who went to split decision with Viana, not nearly -300 faith anyway!!!! Its Womens MMA!!! Any thing can happen!!!

Davis vs. Kang
Brandon Davis, DEC
I like Davis as the underdog here. But I'm picking an awful lot of underdogs on this card. Not sure if my balls are big enough to pull the trigger???

@filth  chill out bro, don't be a BETA about it! I was only suggesting an idea for you 2 to stop bickering.

Maybe you shouldn't have modelled yourself on Colby if your feelings are gonna get hurt when folk give you **** back

I think there's a high probability Romero vs. Costa doesn't leave the first round. Costa is all in your grill from the opening bell and will take shots just to land his, you get clipped and dropped by Hall you can get clipped and dropped by Romero.

idk... T/KO Rd1, for who is the question.

After watching the weigh-ins I am going with Stipe. Think DC has spent too much time doing podcasts and eating corndogs.

Nate was pretty blah about Pettis but that's Nate. Still up in the air but leaning toward Pettis.

This is mma no such thing as karma. Skill wins

I think I'll go with Romero. Hes a counter striker and the hardest hitter in the division. If costa thinks hes going to go in there and physically bully Romero hes got anything thing coming

picking dc, betting a donut with bill

Diaz vs. Pettis
Anthony Pettis, DEC
I think in a 3 round pettis has a good chance to out work nate for the judges. Id love to see this fight all over the place, a decision fight im exctied for!

Romero vs. Costa
Yoel Romero, TKO, R2
I think romero gets another surprise flat line here. Costa might be a champ someday, but i think hes underestimating romero.

@numb, dude I've been on topology for yrs. But only just signed up. I've been reading fishrats shut for ever and it's always a great read. His sense of humor is an acquired taste for some but yes, he's always got something to say.  He's been that way from the beginning and he'll be that way till the end. And most he's stating stats that undermind people's opinions. I enjoy the reads. Keep up the good stuff guys. It's fight day.... can't we all just get along.

Main card parlay

Predictions: 3 of 12 Winners, 2 Perfect, 200 Points   |   Tied for 2539th

Hello gentlemen, the local casino I place bets at only allows you to parlay main card fights. Which two fighters would you recommend parlaying? I’m leaning towards DC & Heinisch (better payout) or DC & Yusuff (safer chance of hitting) thanks boys
