@Hyrm I'm not against immigration per se; I'm for selective immigration. Not just opening the floodgates, a free for all. It doesn't work. Even the British and Scandanavians are backtracking on it now having released lax immigration control and the mass importation of Islamic 'refugees' has been an unmitigated disaster.

Thanks bro I only wish I bet more lol. That was so sure a bet it was like free money. Halep is an animal with the racket but I agree Serena is so ******* strong. The US was built on European immigration. It was not built by bronze-age troglodytes who have not mentally, not culturally evolved, since a time before deodorant, nor was it built by people who had not invented the wheel when Europeans arrived in their country.

@imperatorfishrat well obviously if they come only for the social welfare of course it's not a good reason, but if they come to work and feed their family they should be welcomed warmly
you know my great great father came from italy and was like very poor and barely spoke French, but his children work and I'll be the third generation of engineer you can't say all immigrants are the same

In USA the biggest welfare queens are the big corporations & banks. They get billion dollar pay outs from the government all the time. I don't know anything about France or Canada

Again, I'm not against immigration per se. It should be difficult to emigrate to a first world economy such as France, and it there should be cultural and economic conditions that come with it. Any immigrant who commits a serious crime should be deported immediately. The West should take the best, not the worst, of humanity.

Brigs those big corporations pay Taxes and create jobs. Your country is built on industry. The government doesn't have any money apart from yours, and doesn't make or do anything at all. That's what a liberal capitalist democracy is. Amazon isn't leeching welfare; it's paying in to it.

And? You do realize you're living in a Globalized economy where borders mean nothing in business terms, right? While I think Amazon should pay it's share, you've also got to understand that Amazon is under no obligation to do business in the US at all. Raise the cost of business too much, there will be less business. Either through outsourcing, cuts or some other mechanism.This is a law of economics. What Amazon is contributing to the US economy in terms of wages, Jobs, production hosting and secondary employee taxation is worth infinitely more than the taxes it didn't pay.
