Askren vs. Masvidal
Ben Askren, DEC
I think that if Maia couldn't submit him, I doubt Askren can. However, he's still one helluva grappler and that'll probably win him the fight by unanimous decision.

ok easy, @lewdeylew

Diego Sanchez is horrendous. Chiesa just SUB'd Carlos with something nobodies ever seen before and acted like it was nothing. Diego gets wobbled by gusts of wind and has to resort to wrestling vs pathetic fighters.

UFC had to go out of their way to find Diego some wins. That's long gone.

I disagree Bruce.

Diego does have a shopworn chin but has NEVER been subbed and can go all day if you don't KO him. Chiesa's preferred path to victory will almost certainly not work here. He could KO Diego but I don't expect him to change up his plan and if this is a grapplefest I see Diego winning a decision.

We'll see @mulefloyd

I personally know of 1,000 guys that could rest their balls on Diegos forehead. Chiesa is massive and on another level. Diego is a can smasher.

Gifted a DEC vs Gomi. Gifted the worst DEC of all time vs Pearson, who isn't good. Destroyed by Lamas. Lay & Pray'd vs Lime Disease Miller. KO'd by Lauzon. Didn't even hurt Held but won. KO'd dead twice in a row..now Diego is fighting the Galls & Craig Whites of the world.

Basically, Diego hasn't done anything impressive in 10 years.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 4 of 10 Winners, 1 Perfect, 225 Points   |   Tied for 2440th

Jones vs. Santos
Jon Jones, DEC
I think this will be just like the Smith fight. A dominate decision by Jon. A boring, grapple heavy fight the Jon will take over. I think there will be a few kicks here and there, but then Jon will get him against the fence and dominate. Easy fight for Bones.

Nunes vs. Holm
Holly Holm, TKO, R1
Now look, I understand picking Holm is unpopular of an opinion, but just trust me. She will squeeze in a head kick and KO Nunes in round one. You will see.

Rockhold vs. Błachowicz
Luke Rockhold, TKO, R2
I think Rockhold will dominate Jan on the ground in the first round, then realize his kicking ability. Luke will kick him with a question mark kick and win.

Askren vs. Masvidal
Ben Askren, SUB, R1
I think Ben is a much better wrestler than Jorge, I think he will get a rear named choke and dominate Jorge, I’m a Jorge fan but I think he will get choked out.

N'Gannou vs. dos Santos
Francis N'Gannou, TKO, R1
I think Francis has an easy fight here. Junior is getting somewhat older, and less powerful and kind of sloppy. While Francis is in his prime, I think he will slip in a sneaky uppercut on his way in.

Chiesa vs. Sanchez
Michael Chiesa, SUB, R2
I just think Mike is a much better submission artist. I think he will get beat up on the feet but then he will crack a Kimora by R2.

O'Malley vs. Vera
Sean O'Malley, TKO, R1
I think Sean will score a spinning backfist on his way into a combo and knock Vera out.

Melendez vs. Allen
Gilbert Melendez, DEC
I think Gilbert will snap his little losing streak by getting a close decision with Allen. It will be a boring, slow wrestle heavy fight, but Gilbert will come in at 29-28.

I just feel that his grappling has done nothing but improve over the past 3-4 years he had to find a way to win rounds because he's not knocking anyone out at 170. I just think that Chiesa could succomb to the lay n pray for three rounds throwing up subs to no avail. I by no way shape or form a big fan of Diego but i think he could steal this one in a snoozefest! I'm going stick with my Sanchez by dec, but id love to see one more slobber knocker of his!! Don't think Chiesa has the power to put away Diego's crazy ass so this could end up a war!

3  things I'd like to point out

1. Chiesa should win, not by Sub but a UD.
2. As much as I like Melendez we'll lose a a loo-sided decision imo.
3. This Ismail guy is good. He beat Prazares fairly easily if my memory serves me right.

LMAO Holly Holm couldn't punch her way out of a wet paper bag with scissors in her hands. Best she can hope to do against Nunes is push her up against the cage and ish ish her in the muff for a majority of rounds and win a decision.

Holly holm is a boring quasi-human, stubble-lipped monstrosity who has turned her ****** into a facehugger through PED abuse. At no point in her boxing career was ever even remotely as shredded as she is now. At the weigh ins she looks as though she's smuggling a hermit crab in her panties. Anyone who thinks she is sexy is profoundly disturbed and probably finds this image arousing:

And I can't wait to see her get KTFO.
