Has Poirer gotten where he is because he's been demanding a title shot and more money? No, he's just been knocking dudes out. Just knock some more dudes out, you would have to be doing that as champion anyways. I say do Poirier vs. Iaqunita, Ferguson vs. Khabib, Conor vs. Cerrone and Felder vs. Gaethje/Barboza winner in a bit of a tournament

Actually talk are about Fergusson vs Holloway for vacant belt,
Khabib should face the winner in november.
If Mcgregor win twice until there, he will probably fight for the belt march or april next years

so thats mean theres no title shoot for Poirier until late 2020...

I heard it was Holloway vs. Ferguson for the Interim belt, but I hate that fight either way. Enough with the champ-champ ********, Max needs to fight Frankie already. If Khabib can't fight then do Ferguson and Poirier for the Interim to keep the division going, not add in the Featherweight champ to make it more confusing

Though your prob right, I think Poirier has a way better shot against Ferguson then Al does.  Ferguson beats either of them, but i think Dustin would have a way better chance of an upset.

I think Ferguson is the best LW out there. I think he beats Nurmy.  However, I think Holloway is a terrible match up for Ferguson and I don't like his chances in that one.

Anybody who says anything other than Tony/Khabib needs to **** off.

Tony vs Max is propbably the best fight you can make on paper in any division of any combat sport but NO, just NO.  Khabib Tony must happen or how the **** will we know who the best is?  After that, have at it.

@Zuli lol. Atta boy! It does need to happen but I have no idea how they approach it. **** is just Kiboshed. I don't like how often I hear the word retire leave Nurmy's mouth either. There's actually a good chance that bout never happens. Khabib will probably bow out within th next two years. I dunno. I feel like they will do Mcgregor vs Ferguson before Tony/Khabib. If I can't have the eagle vs el cucuy I'll take it. That's a good fight. Better than Mcgregor vs Nurmy 2 anyway, which I would hate for all kinds of reasons not least of which being that Mcgregor got ass****d and deserves a rematch about as much Cachoeira deserves a do over with Valentina.

If they make Cowboy vs Mcgregor and nuggets drops that one...good lord, he'll be a stale fart.

@ Franklin I kind of agree. Tony is the most dangerous fight for Khabib by a long ass way. In fact he's probably the only threat going. Pretty sure he'd smash poirier, grind out Lee horribly, and put another shellacking on Iaquinta and Mcgregor. Actually that might not be true, Gregor Gillespie is a beast and I'm not gonna lie, I would love to see that fight. But not in the near future.

@zuli off course thats the fight to make but do u really wanna not see Ferguson for a year while we wait for khabib knowing the high likely hood of the fight still not happening?
I can't wait. I will except Holloway vs Ferguson in the meantime.  Whoever loses that fight is not a loser.

And as for khabib... hey buddy you're 27-0 thats half what floyd has done and your already talking about retireing In every Interview. stop comparing yourself to floyd mayweather!  You beat conor McGregor but you're not conor! Not even close! Both ferg and Holloway will beat the eagle like he's a turkey!

Khabib has faced and defeated far better opposition in mma than Mayweather ever did in boxing.

Most of the top guys Mayweather fought were well beyond their prime when he fought them.

Mayweather only face Hatton and Canelo as top opposition
He wait 5 years for Pacquiao to became old and slow,
Gatti, dela Hoya, Mosley was beat many times when Floyd face them.

Khabib has never defended a belt in the UFC so he is also far away from the greatest of all time status!

@Hyrm love him or hate him Floyd did face the best guys around. You left out Maidana, but also Mosley was still really good when they fought. I agree with you about Pac though, definitely ducked him until his legs were shot.

@Tepid no he has not. Get outta here with that ****. You do realize that Saul was on something like a 40 win streak with like 70% KO/TKO rate and in his physical prime when he fought Mayweather, right? When that bout was made, Canelo was a really, really bad ************.

And goddamn you for making me defend Mayweather.
