ESJ is bigger, hits WAY harder, is more efficient and better at finding openings (especially in the pocket) and really should win this fairly handily all things being equal. Mikey will need to fight a perfect fight and win on points, will be very hard to do because I don't think he's a better boxer. Spence Jnr is already close to being perfect, and it is hard to beat perfect. He hasn't even looked like being in trouble and he is crazy good for how few pro fights he's had, even though he's yet to fight a premium talent. He's a very scary dude who can hurt you from outside, but is probably even more dangerous in close. He's a proper pugilist who can really generate crazy ass power off his his hips and lats in tiny spaces. He's literally dangerous in all distances. Mikey will have to call upon every ounce of his considerable experience to win this, and Kudos to him for taking this fight because nobody wants anything to do with Errol and for good reason. His best chance is to out-volume his enemy here, and try and make him be the nail. We haven't seen ESJ go deep against someone as good as Mikey. It's a big ask, but I'm going to take him in what is probably just a useless fanboy heart pick.

I can't believe the date is just about here. I get excited about these kinda fights. Take two Top 10 lb-4-lb guys, annnd let em scrap. And it's an interesting matchup. I can see both guys, exacting out their Gameplan's on each other and getting their hand raised. I could see Mikey winning on more volume and winning rounds en route to a win. But I can also see Spence landing the more damaging significant strikes (and no, not all Sig. Strikes are created equal) and winning a chunk of rounds en route to victory. Spence has 11 straight KO wins, Finished his last 14/15 wins, but I really dnt know if he can get Mikey outta there. I reallyyyy dnt know. If this was any other true Lightweight, It wouldn't even be a question, but we're talking the #1–#2 Lightweight in a looong time. I'm really not sure. But I'd be putting money on Spence here. Sorry guys....

Spence got that lanky-leverage, super crisp, basically all the entangles you'd want in a fighter imo...

Welp that went about how I thought it would. Props to Mikey for taking it, and not getting KTFO. He ate some real bombs, especially to the body, but never stopped trying to move on the front foot and lead the dance. Spence just too big and heavy handed for him, in the end...he was a big boy in there. Mikey just couldn't get inside without paying too much.
