Just like she did with joanna. I forsee rose using that awkward footwork to avoid andrade the whole fight.
The Namajunas era has begun. Androgenous andrade better pay cyborg and nunes' pharmacy a visit.
Lol. like she wasn't going to anyway.

Andrade, KO/TKO R4.
I used to think Andrade was just an absolutely horrible matchup for rose....and I still think so, too. Rose has always been mum on the subject of fighting her which is always a good indication that a fighter wants nothing to do with someone. The less a fighter talks about a fighter in their division, the less they want to fight them.
This is an eternal rule.
I just don't see how Rose wins. Yes, she iced JJ, but there's no way she's doing that to Andrade. Her head is a bowling ball. Can she outcardio her? I strongly ******* doubt it. Can she sub her? Well, that's her only shot, and she could definitely do it. If she does win it will be by sub. However, I don't think that's probable; I think andrade has shured up her sub defense as seen in the Gadelha fight...though Rose is legit way better off her back.
I think rounds 1 and 2 are close with rose winning, but spending a lot of energy to do it. She hits Andrade a lot but it doesn't do much.. Round three comes, and Andrade suplexes her, gets to mount and gets to work. Rose Survives but eats a lot of damage and is spent from trying to attack subs. Round 4 starts, Rose gets suplxed again, mounted again, and again andrade gets to work, This time it's nastier, Rose gets cut, still fights back for a while, then covers. The ref has seen enough and waves it.
And New.

I actually thought rose made up the ptsd crap just to avoid fighting andrade in hopes that she would lose in the mean time. Also when rose beat joanna and became champ I immediately thought the one to beat her would be a good wrestler like andrade, suarez or claudia But im not so sure anymore. Andrade and Claudia are to willing to stand and strike. I think suarez will be champ Its just a matter of time. But as usual who knows anything can happen.

Countless of PPV match-ups down the drain because he was able to live comfortably. Pay GSP what he deserves, pennies on the dollar, and he'd still be fighting on several PPV's a year.

Anyway, he was giving a lecture about why they pay the way they do, and he used boxing as an example. His point was basically thus: if you pay a fighter a huge sum of money before they've put in a performance, then they won't show up to put on a good performance. Because they've already made their money, and why would they risk getting critically and life-alteringly injured if they don't need to? Their money is in the bank.
And he's not wrong. Look at some of the ****shows you get in flagship boxing events like Mayweather vs Pacquiao.
The UFC doesn't throw buckets of money at prospect fighters for the same reason you don't pay a contractor for work on your house until the job is done.
It's a brutal business policy, but it sure is effective.
