I think esparzas problem is she came into the ufc at a time when there weren't many great wmma fighters. She never progressed at all she's a good wrestler with a brawler style stand up. But shes virtually the same fighter she always been.
In jandirobas last fight against morandin she dominated the whole fight. In stand up. In wrestling and on the ground for a quick arm triangle sub. I think the wrestling might be even but everywhere else shes a level above esparza. But of course anything can happen.

Word on the street is the UFC doesn't think very highly of Jack Hermansson. This card has been scheduled for ESPN TV for 4+ months. It's been scheduled as UFC on ESPN 3 even before there was any fights even announced. It remained scheduled to be televized when it was Romero/Costa. It stayed the same, as scheduled when it became Jacaré/Romero 2. Annnd ONLY when it became Jacaré/Hermansson, was it then demoted to ESPN+... Sooo yea. they dnt feel Hermansson is worthy of being in a televized main event... That's kinda ******. Feel badd for Hermansson.

Davis has some skills but has not fought anyone on this level. The biggest question is if Burns will mess around on the feet for a while which he tends to do sometimes. If he does what he should and just take this guy down and tap him out it should be a very quick night. However Burns has at times stood up and kickboxed. My thinking is he will play it smart and do what he should to send Davis back to the regional circuit . My pick Burns by RNC in the 1st round.

I'm reeaaally starting to believe as I go thru this card, it's a night that's gonna make or break some UFC careers I'd imagine. I mean Arlovski, Ben Saunders, Jim Miller, Court McGee.. they're all on the downswing of their careers. Hell you could make an argument for Esparza... But outta those 4 guys, I believe Jim Miller, maybe Court McGee is most likely to win this weekend.. Not sure what another loss does for them tho.
