Just as well DJ can wrestle, because he'd lose a striking contest to that guy.

DJ is looking worse after two rounds with Wakamatsu than five rounds with Cejudo.

Only caught Alvarez and DJ's fights so far but I was impressed with Nastyukhin and Wakamatsu, Nasty especially for coming out aggressive and not letting Alvarez do much. Wonder if Eddie is declining? And Wakamatsu doesn't have the greatest record but at 24 he still has a lot of time to improve and he gave DJ some problems, scrambled very effectively.

Eddies got a lot of miles. I’m a huge Alvarez fan and I definitely think he’s been in his decline. He’s been rocked a lot in his career. Eventually that quick recovery ability and durability go too. He’s still had a great career and really has nothing to prove.

Agree Bruce he is vicious but Alvarez was supposed to win that. If you took nasty it’s a nice call. I’m just saying I’m not shocked personally Alvarez is slower than he was a few back and doesn’t have the recovery he once had. JMO.

Yeah, Alvarez hasn't looked the same since getting wrecked by Conor for the most part. Kind of surprised he survived Gaethje so well though since otherwise he's been dropped and stopped most of the time since his Conor loss.

My main takeaway; Makamatsu is a legit prospect. Dropped Mighty Mouse Multiple times. Give him two more years.

@ swain I was blown away. Timofey is flat footed, loopy and pretty slow. Good timing and power though. However Eddie reminded me of how he fought in the Mcgregor fight last night....really tentative, nervous....unable to commit or get in a groove. I'm not so much impressed with Nasty as I am disappointed with Alvarez.

Don't forget that extra fifteen pounds eddie has to fight with now. 170 is too heavy for him in my opinion.
