Because Anderson knows "monsters" don't take selfies with filters on. Besides getting ****y vs Weidman and the leg-break, Silva never been KO'd before so I don't know why you're flipping out.
Adesanya will pick up a DEC win but he probably won't even come close to finishing Silva.

I think its a perfect passing of the torch fight. I'm not ready to write off spider silva just yet but i think there is a really good chance adesenya ko's him.

Anderson will get merked horribly. He has lost 4 of his last 5, hasn't fought in basically two years and is 43 years old. I thought he lost the Brunson fight. His footwork and reactions are gone. He will get KO'ed brutally within two rounds.

@Hyrm my guess is that he probably grew up watching and idolizing anderson like a lot young of current generation strikers and he wants to fulfill a childhood dream. Beating Silva at this point has no meaning, though.

Actually he was offered to be the back up fighter for the chsmpionship between kg and whitaker.
He said no! And now he's fighting on the same card. Does this mean anderson silva is the back up for the middle weight title bout?

@free he was probably told he wouldn't have been given the belt even if he won. It's a clause that's been used quite a bit. Silva is still a draw man. He'll make good bank. Smart career move as far as I see; gets the hype for beating silva from the casuals and gets a big easy payday. Sure as **** better than having to face Costa or Canoneer for chicken scratch.

Man you guys r making me think silva is farthrr gone then i thought.
I gotta watch back silvas last couple fights. Wasn't dc his last fight and he looked pretty good even though he lost. And that fight was at 205 we all know silva as a middle weight.

The hallmark of an over-the-hill fighter is low output. Every time, that's a dead giveaway. Chuck just threw nothing nothing before getting TKO'ed in one. Big Nog through almost nothing before getting murdered by Nelson. BJ Penn threw almost nothing against Siver. Belfort threw almost nothing against Machida. Silva, relatively speaking, threw extremely little vs Brunson and Bisping both. That was almost two years ago, and in that time he's been busted for a PED violation.
Silva is done and has been for some time--at least against the new elites. He's going to get finished.

I will forever root for Anderson... However, I don't really see many ways, if any, that he wins this fight. Israel is faster, bigger, more powerful, and of course, much, much younger. I would love to see Silva win this fight and then ride out into the sunset and retire with a huge win over a future champion, but I just can't see how it happens.

I just looked back and i see what u guys r talking about. I had missed the brunson fight i thought his last was dc.
I also forgot about the steroids. Very suspicious he destroys everyone gets poped for steroids and all of a sudden he can barely win a fight. Either way i was gonna take style bender anyway.
