You're opinion. But you are sadly mistaken if you think Mir is going to lose to Big Nog. He will beat him. And then he will be close to a title shot.

IF he beats Nog can he beat Brock, JDS, Cain, the quickly rising Cormier, Carwin, or Werdum? I dont think he can, He has already lost brutally to Brock and Carwin. What in his recent fights make you think he has improved?

Well number 1 it's the era of the most dominant champions we've ever seen and you have every one of them losing in their next 1 or 2 fights, could Alistair run through Brock and Cain/JDS? Doubtful, but maybe. Could Diaz beat Penn then GSP, VERY doubtful, but maybe. Could Lyoto be the one to beat Jones? again very doubtful, but perhaps. The odds all 3 of these happen? Never in a million years. Then you couple that with saying Vitor Belfort will be the next champ? How do you figure? Was his mutilation by Anderson Silva promising for you? Or let's say Chael really is good enough to keep Anderson down for 25 minutes, what the hell would Belfort do? Then Melendez is overrated and won't be getting a shot before Bendo/Guida, and if Edgar beats Bendo I don't really see Melendez beating him. Then you got Mark Hominick???? LOL, not only is he atleast 3 wins from another title shot, but he got DESTROYED by an Aldo who had a disastrous weight cut, a rematch goes the same way minus the 5th round. Then Miguel Torres is the worrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrst. He's a couple away from a title shot too, and please tell me how his performances against Benavidez or Mighty Mouse makes you think he can beat Dominick Cruz? So yes, atrocious is exactly the word I would use.

I was sitting there nodding my head until the Miguel Torres part.

Miguel is the best match up for Dominick Cruz.

Sure, Torres doesn't perform as well as he should against tiny wrestlers. Put him up against somebody like Cruz, and that's a completely different story.

If anything, Diaz is the worst choice out of all of those, considering he'll be steamrolled by Penn.

Guys you're missing the whole point of the thread. Its the NEXT UFC champion; hes not saying these guys will beat the champions. In the case of Silva/GSP/Jones they could all retire/change weight class, hes not directly saying Belfort > Silva.. alot of the titles look like they'll be held for a while.. its hypothetical

HW: Overeem, Jones later
LHW: Shogun/Machida/Evans.. Ill go with Shogun when/IF Jones moves up.
MW: Sonnen
WW: THIAGO ALVES! JK, even though I love him its gotta be Fitch
