Two very smart fighters, technical as well. Karolina's reach, vs. Michelle's grappling quirky style. Also, has Karolina recovered physically and psychologically from her devastating loss to Andrade, and 3 of her last 5 fights since she beat a smaller and less mature Rose Namajunas?

Aguilar vs Barzola

Barzola, dec.

Tough fight for Aguilar, Barzola is a bad style for him. Barzola has very good TD's, and although Aguilar is very good off his back and is deft at avoiding GNP, he's still going to spend a lot of time slipping and ducking with Brazola on top of him. Barzola's striking sucks balls and he's leakier than church roof, so aguilar could lay him out, but it's not likely.

Waterson vs KK

Waterson decision.

Unless KK has developed a more diverse striking repertoire as opposed to wrote muay thai combinations, she's going to lose to the more creative fighter in waterson here.If it somehow goes to the mat, karate hotty has an even bigger advantage.

Moroz vs Maso

Who gives a ****?

Barboza vs Gaethje

Justin Gaethje by KO within 3 rounds.

Barboza can't handle pressure from heavy punchers, watch Barboza vs Jamie Varner, MJ. Big fan of Edson but Gaethje is his kryptonite.

That's to bad, I really want to see how he develops. Also, I agree on the Gaethje pick. He will walk Edson down. However, if he gives Barboza room for even a second I don't trust Gaethje's defense vs a Barboza kick.

Barboza vs Gaethje

Barboza, TKO R4.

As this guy ^ says, Edson doesn't like being pressured by big punchers. Like, at all. If Justin is going to win it will be within three rounds. How probablE is that? About as equally probable as Edson fighting cautiously, staying on his pony, teeping the living **** out of Gaethje for three and getting a head kick or flying knee KO  in the 4th when he's still relatively fresh and Gaethje is spent from throwing 100% in to every strike. 50/50. I have to side with the wily veteran with much superior cardio and toughness. Edson can take a real beating and has grit for days. Justin will have to KO him clean, because if he just wobbles him bad/drops him Edson will recover and may even submit him if it stays on the ground.

Johnson vs Emmett

Johnson KO/TKO R2.

Everybody wants to lick the ginger chipmunk's taint because he sparked Lamas. I was one of the 9% who picked him to win that by KO, but I'm not going to do so here. Speed kills ladies and gentleman, and Johnson has the fastest hands in the division. Much, much better hand speed than Emmett, and better hands in general. He can also take a pounding, as evidenced by the Gathje fight. Does emmett hit harder than Justin? I ******* doubt it. They will exchange from the bell and Johnson is gonna give a lot more than he gets for a KO/TKO.

Perez vs De La Rosa

Perez, KO/TKO R2.

Perez should win this fight easily, really. Before losing to Benavidez who is still top 3 he was undefeated and he very nearly ended Joeseph in that fight. Excellent conditioning, very aggressive, strong TD's, much more experienced. One of the surer bets on the card.

Haha, Wow, that second paragraph read much more graphic than what I was prepared for. The thing is, I haven't seen the same stopping power from MJ since his move to 145 where as ,with Emmett, he has dropped his 3 opponents every time he has touched them. Unless Stephens permanently broke him, Emmett by decision.

I'd just like to touch on your point about the main event should it his the canvas... WHAT?! I don't see Barboza submitting anyone, ever, much less someone with the wrestling of Gaethje. I just don't think this fight will spend much time on the canvas.

De La Rosa has his best shot if he can get this to the ground. However, I think Perez is strong enough to keep the fight upright and land aggressively. Perez is the pick for me.

Quick picks for the rest: karolina, Rodriguez, Branch, Moraes, Borg.

@Random thing is, MJ doesn't have to KO him. All he needs to do is hurt him enough to keep him from taking risks, and given that he's hard to land on clean, and has crazy fast hands and an ability to catch people from odd angles, it's a good bet he'll be able to keep him honest. MJ by either decision or KO/TKO wouldn't surprise me. Emmett has one good win and that's Lamas. He lost to green. MJ has fought khabib, elkins, poirier, Gaethje, Diaz, Dariush...and he's beaten poirier and Barboza. He's beaten Tony Fergsuon! Emmett has basically just crushed cans.

As for Barboza by sub, well it's not even close to being his best chance of winning but people easily forget he's a bJJ blackbelt. Imagine a situation where Justin is totally depleted. He's swinging like a fat drunk smoker at a pub. Edson catches him with a kick or a knee, justin drops, Edson pounches on a gilly or RNC, and Justin doesn't have the gas to fight off.

lol what have you got against Borg anyway Brucey? I'll grant you that he's roughly as exciting as drying laundry but I can't think of anything he's done to engender such hatred. Not like he ****** a dolphin at seaworld during the children's matinée, anyway.

Pretty vain hope that Kenney wins this. Not only is he singularly ******* awful, but he's taking this on short notice. He should be +5000 by anything going in to this. Only way I see him winning is by DQ/NC. If he by some act off God wins this, I will take a **** on the dinner table at my GF's next family BBQ, wipe my ass with a bread roll, eat it like a T-rex, and afterwards start a conversation with her father about how I prefer a good home-brewed nutella sandwich to his wife's ****** pasta bake.

I remember it differently. Way I recall it I said 'this fight will definitely go to a decision, and if it does I will console myself with a okonomayaki hand prepared by a premium Honshu hooker". When that came to pass everyone was like 'well yeah, I guess that was always going to happen, thanks for guiding us through it fish and may nothing but happiness walk through your door forever'. And then literally everyone in the thread congratulated me and somebody said they wished I was their dad, which brought a tear to my eye and my monacle fogged up, so I took it off and polished it and then I turned into a dog and this happened:
