To my eyes, that fight was pretty close, and when a fight is close, it's a coin toss who gets the decision. Both had their moments. When the fight ended, I was totally fine with either winning. I like Cifers more as a fighter, and as a person, so I'm glad she won.
So there.

First fight, first wrong decision.
I bet some of those judges gave Cifers the second round for laying on top of Viana while being elbowed.
But really, Viana is partially at fault here... it's 2019, you don't pull guard unless you're a BJJ genius.

@Mule cifers just won a fight she got outstruck and dropped in. Judges suck. She had one moment in the fight where she dropped Viana, and the rest of the time got outstruck, even in guard.

Chiasson is a beast!
The Cifers decision was correct, you cant pull guard and expect to win the round unless your constantly threatening with submissions which she wasnt.

Why does the UFC have Macy as now 5-0 when according to tapology she is now 4-0?

@Kyles cifers decision was wrong, Striking is weighted more heavily than control according to the judging criteria. Just because you lay in guard getting elbowed and punched in the face doesn't mean you win the round. It means you lose it. You only win on top if you aren't taking more damage than you dish out.

I think Cifers is literally more afraid of Megan Olivi then fighting someone in a cage.

Viana won the 2nd on all 3 "judges" at Sherdog but CIfers was NOT clearly outstruck. Yes, she landed a greater number but almost all of her punches had way less impact tHan Cifers' and she was doing a horrible job of trying to pot shot from the outside because her movement was lacking and that's why Cifers won the 1st and 3rd on 2 judges scorecards. Again these are Sherdog judges but they're at least as competent as real ones if not more. Oh, and I happen to agree with them. :D

She probably just want to lay in her face to breast...because other than the one knock down punch she landed in the first, that’s all she did. I’m not saying robbery, because we all know Viana was silly to do that with Us judging, but Cifers did nothing great at all of value. Proper to her though. She got the W.

And how exactly is getting elbowed in the face better than elbowing somebody in the face? She had also dropped Cifers in that round. Viana was ripped off. If you can't understand that, you don't understand how MMA is scored.
