I think it's a fair trade off slight edge to the UFC, Mighty Mouse not that much of a draw and Askren has some good match ups available

I thought Askren was pretty boring and just a lay and pray but he has been finishing fights, granted its not UFC caliber fighters but he has finished 7 of the last 9

Askren doesn't l'n'p. He doesn't need to because he's that confident that he can take his opponent back down that he floats on top and constantly transitions. Very fluid imo. Maybe he might start to out of necessity when he faces the best but I haven't seen it yet.

Bruce is pretty much right. Askren won't be a fan favorite--not when he starts getting top 5 opponents, can't sub them and wins by very, very low-damage top control UD's.
Sadly he will still outdraw DJ regardless. The casual fans just don't give a **** about flyweights for whatever reason.

That's actually a good point Alias. Sonnen Drew ( still draws) and he basically puts on the same borefests as Askren. ****-talking sells.

Excited to see Askren in the UFC finally.
Can see the long time dream fight between him and GSP turns out hopefully.
vs Khabib would be great and grapple fest
vs Colby would be interesting to say the least
vs Maia would be a great BJJ vs Wrestling match up that would probably turn out boring
and real long shot hope is if Romero can ever be 185, that would be something that can be great, or Askren could get clipped.
Said to see DJ leave. Always been a favorite of mine. But at ONE FC where they treat the lighter weights like royalty, he will get the praise from the audience he deserves and the bank roll too.

@Bruce I actually have no interest in watching Askren fight TBH. Couldn't care less whether he gets signed, and I'd rather watch DJ fight all day long. I'm just saying he likely draws more than DJ because seemingly nobody cares about Flyweight. I guarantee Cejudo headliner cards sell two fifths of **** all too if DJ does walk and doesn't reclaim the belt. If someone as good as DJ can't sell flyweight, then I don't know who can.
