Bermudez starting to dominate with his  experience. Because Edwards is by far the better athlete, but just has NO IDEA how to use it well yet

I was strictly fading Bermudez here, and for once in a long time that was a poor choice.

They actually found him somebody with a worse fight IQ than he has.

Funny. I have Dennis up 2-0 pretty clearly.. or so I thought. I guess the first was a tale of two rounds. I agree with the commentary though. You gotta go into the third thinking you need a finish. Bermudez looks great.

Te is a good athlete and has some natural gifts but he needs to work on his overall skills and conditioning. He should probably head back to small league shows and work on his fight IQ.

Wow man. Thanks for the fun fights, Denis. He always brought it no matter what. Solid career. Hopefully Edwards learns from this. Denis was just too experience to get beat on athleticism with little back up strategy. I’m always high in good wrestlers but that was the concern; how was he gonna handle the grappling, more so than the  wrestling, especially off his back.

@Bruce, that reminded me of middle and high school Friday or Saturday basketball games us wrestling folk had to sit through to wait to set up and roll out the mats for the tournament or match to follow or in the morning.   The fun part was someone always ended up wrapped up in a mat tape cocoon hanging upside down from the pull up bars, rolled in a mat, taped to the locker room benches or locked in the trophy case.
