Nobody who wants to get into a pure striking match with Adesanya is going to win, certainly not Brunson who is very KOable. He's too loopy, and Adesnaya will find a home for what he wants when wants.

How does this make any sense whatsoever?
Diaz is going to win this.Just a terrible matchup for Poirier. Nate is very good at using his range and can take a tonne of damage. What's going to happen is that Diaz will gradually dominate from the middle of the second round onwards, until he gets a late TKO as a result of accumulating a lot of damage, and by virtue of his superior cardio. Poirier will punch himself out in 2/12 rounds, and get slipped and countered a lot for the bargain. Even though the blueprint exists to beat Nate ) chop his lead leg off) Poirier isn't gonna do that, he's gonna go headhunting and run out of wheaties.
UFC is hoping Conor gets through Khabib so they can do Diaz vs Mcgregor III. And even if khabib wins, Diaz vs Khabib will still draw higher than just about any other matchup they can make.
WME era, yo. Pretty huge kick in the nuts for guys like Lee, Ferguson, Pettis and Iaquinta...all of whom are ranked higher than Diaz.
