Kaiwhare Kara-France, TKO, R1
Mokhtarian is one of the worst fighters on the entire roster imo. Flyweight may be shallow, but it won’t be losing anything whenever he loses this fight and gets cut.

Have to go with JDS by decision. Tai struggled with Arlovski, who has developed into a good outside fighter. I think Junior employs the same, strategy and it will look a bit like his last fight. That, and although I generally always back my fellow Aussie, I'll never root against JDS.

Yea gotta agree, too much too soon. Ivanov showcased how sturdy JDS's chin is still.

Tuivasa and adasenya we're this years best and brightest for me.
Glad to c tuivasa and adasenya as main events. I suspect both will b future champs.

Tuivasa by knock-out in round 1.

I got tyson pedro bouncing back with a decision.

Wilson reis looks shaky at best. Give me ben.

This one is shaping up to be a good card.
Can mark hunt pull out one last walk off ko in the ufc?

Tuivasa will never beat Blaydes, that's the problem. Not if his training partners are Pedro and hunt for all time, anyway. He has the potential to be an amazing heavyweight but he will be ruined by bad coaching and worse career advice if he doesn't start thinking about number one. I'd like to see him get in with Team Reaper TBH. Failing that any good US based American camp other than jackson Wink would do. AKA would be a perfect fit.

He needs to train wrestling. He needs to live, eat, breath and **** wrestling every week for years. And years. And years. If he had decent TD's, and learned how to maintain top controil position, he would be terrifying. He's basically a lump  with tree trunks for legs, no neck, and short arms that generate big power in small spaces. Know who else is built like that? Daniel Cormier. If he knew what he was doing on top, whoever was under him would likely never get out. Teach this kid to leg ride, drill the **** out of gillies and RNC's, and watch him turn people into hommus from the top and pop their heads off.

What's good about Tuivasa

a)He hits hard
b) he has very quick hands for a HW
c) He's a fellow koori and and no doubt has a 3 inch plate skull
d) pretty sure one of his legs weighs as much as I do
f) great physicality for TDD and low kicks, doesn't go here enough
g) He's very young and has a lot of room to grow
h) good at exploding
i)Throws combos and doesn't look for the home run run
j) he's patient and efficient with his strikes

What's bad about him

a) He's very, very brawley. Only classy strike I've seen him throw is  a short elbow.
d) He's very liable to getting kept on the outside and countered/picked to pieces
c) His cardio sucks, and he doesn't take conditioning seriously (basically lives on KFC)
d) His boxing is not great, if he didn't have speed he would not have gotten this far
e) I suspect he is absolutely woeful off his back and has appallingly bad wrestling, and jits, in general
f) He's not a smart fighter, and is very one dimensional.
g) his reach sucks
h) he has no plan B to 'I just wanna smash you in the face'
i) he can be overcautious.

As of right now, I think lewis, Cormier, Ngannou, Miocic, Bladyes all beat him. Badly. He may upset JDS, but he'll have to be lucky and JDS will have to forget his gameplan. Volkov would beat him also. He might get through Tybura but that would be a war, and I do think he would upset Olienek and Overeem.

The fight I'd like to see next for Tuivasa is baby albini. ******* great fight that would be a real test for both guys.

With mark hunt as his mentor of course he's a brawler. I agree he needs to move on to a better team and trainning. But so does derick lewis and he's got a title shot. The natural speed and power goes a long way. I think only Dc and blaydes can beat him. And miocic of course. The true heavyweight champ.

dos Santos vs. Tuivasa
Junior dos Santos, DEC
Let's be honest here, this is one of them fights where it either ends early for Tuivasa, or goes the distance for JDS. If Tuivasa CAN'T finish him within 2, he's already losing. He's gonna gas sooo badly after R2, cause his conditioning training is frying junk food in straight lard, then moving hand from plate to mouth... not the best training regimen. Annnnd then JDS picks him apart with his superior boxing.

Hunt vs. Willis
Justin Willis, DEC
Hasn't mark hunt struggled against wrestlers??

Rua vs. Pedro
Tyson Pedro, TKO, R2
I think this is another horrid matchup for Shogun.. I almost feel like the UFC WANTS TO get rid of Shogun.. I mean what's he fighting for? he's realistically never gonna get another title shot, so that's not it, the man is a legend. he can retire now annnnd NOT tarnish his legacy like the other legends that continue fighting.. I'd rather watch him retire, than to watch him fight again. I'm just being honest

I at first, had no ****-king clue who Anthony Rocco Martin was..... I thought it was just some guy making his debut. But then......... My dumbass figured out it was Tony Martin.. That's what I know the dude as... Still not picking him, but it should be a fun fight.

Kara-France vs. Mokhtarian
Kaiwhare Kara-France, TKO, R2
Ashkan Mokhtarian is a strange, strange man.

Crute vs. Craig
Jim Crute, TKO, R1
Is Jim Crute's gym really called "Greco & Stewies House?" ..... That's a joke right. Anyways.. I dnt like Paul Craig, so I'll always pick against him.

Yusuff vs. Mokhtarian
Sodiq Yusuff, TKO, R2
ANOTHER Mokhtarian! Geeez... I hope he's not as strange as the other one... Anyways, I've been waiting for when they were gonna debut Sodiq Yusuff. So it should be interesting

Shogun was actually 1 fight away from a title shot in his last outing and in my opinion Smith was a very winnable fight for him until he got caught also dont forget he was on a 3 fight win streak with a win over Corey Anderson who's top 5. Dont sleep on shogun

@beatdown LOL.

I love Shogun, but he's completely ****** here. I have no idea why the UFC hate him so much because he's going to get murdered again and this fight feels like punishment. Pedro is even more Dangerous than Smith, and if he and Smith fought tomorrow Tyson would totally roll over him effortlessly. Hated seeing smith smoke Rua, perfect picked it, and it's going to happen again in round 1.

Predictions: 8 of 12 Winners, 2 Perfect, 450 Points   |   Tied for 801st

dos Santos vs. Tuivasa
Junior dos Santos, DEC
the lines should be a lot wider than they are, i think junior is gonna put on another boxing clinic. too big of a jump up from arlovski. not sure junior goes in for the kill though.

Hunt vs. Willis
Mark Hunt, TKO, R3
the odds on this are... odd? do people really think willis is a top 10 guy? do they think hunto is mailing it in just to collect a check and fulfill his contract? you'd have to think that willis can wrestle a little bit coming from aka, but idk if it'll be enough to stop this from being primarily a kb match and that's rarely a good game to play with mark. who knows though, maybe he can outmanuever him and make mark miss?

Rua vs. Pedro
Tyson Pedro, SUB, R1
i'm not ready to give up on tyson as a prospect just because he got caught in the rollercoaster that is osp, but he's gonna be in for a long night if he can't manage to get inside like i think he can.

Matthews vs. Martin
Anthony Rocco Martin, DEC
martin's striking has really evolved over the years and it'll be interesting to see what it looks like against another capable striker after fighting so many grapplers in a row. i tend to pick both of these guys' fights wrong though so i'm just picking off momentum.

Crute vs. Craig
Jim Crute, TKO, R1
crute ko r1 sounds like too easy of a pick, but i'm gonna make it. craig's style seems to rely on him catching his opponents off his back and there's simply not much longevity in that strategy.

Yusuff vs. Mokhtarian
Sodiq Yusuff, DEC
looks like striker vs grappler and yusuff is HIGHLY favored. i guess the consensus is that suman isn't gonna get a chance to try and use his grappling. i've already made a couple underdog picks for this card so i'll go with the herd on this one even though i think the odds are way off.

Kunchenko vs. Okami
Alexey Kunchenko, TKO, R1
guess we're gonna find out if kunchenko can avoid/embrace the grind. i picked against him last time out so i'd rather pick him this time and be happily wrong if yushin can turn back the clock.

Reis vs. Nguyen
Ben Nguyen, DEC
ben's striking should be able to keep wilson outside and limited to diving on desperate ankle picks.

Hirota vs. Giagos
Mizuto Hirota, DEC
never impressed by giagos, no idea why he's such a big favorite, but i always put too much faith in hirota. old habits and such.

Kara-France vs. Garcia
Kai Kara-France, DEC
always felt like kai deserved the callup from tuf. garcia is coming in on short notice but i'm sure he's motivated so i don't think it'll be a blowout.

Nakamura vs. Touahri
Keita Nakamura, DEC
having a hard time getting behind salim's record, really mediocre competition, gotta think keita can drag him around a bit if he doesn't get blasted.

Ismagulov vs. Gorgees
Damir Ismagulov, TKO, R2
gorgees has been crushing cans in devastating fashion, but damir seems like a legitimate puncher.
