Jon Jones tests positive again and has trace amounts again.

NSAC will deny a license to Jones, BUT CALIFORNIA AND THE CSAC WILL!

THE UFC ARE LEGIT MOVING THE ENTIRE EVENT TO CALIFORNIA JUST SO JONES CAN FIGHT! ******* WOW.

Of all the low level, scummy things to do, this takes the taco for the UFC.  This is an absolute bad image for the company, all because they are trying to prop a cash cow that has long gone past his expiration date in Jon Jones due to him being a drug cheat.

So....I don't get this. How has turinabol not been in every single sample since the first one? Also, my understanding is that the half life of turinabol is about 16 hours. Let's say Jones had like 1 kilo of turinabol in his system (lol). Let's just say the test in reference was one year to the date of his original ingestion (it wasn't, it's been much more than a year). 1,000 grams X 0.5^((365X24)/16) = 1.53 X 10^-162 grams. Give me a break.1.0 X 10^-62 kg is equivalent to the smallest detectable photon.

In other words, whole thing sounds like JBJ is still juicing.

EDIT: Apparently, they released a statement saying the amounts are equivalent to several picograms. A picogram is 10^-12 grams. With a half life of 16 hours, a 1kg injection would equal less than 10 picograms approximately 30 days out from original ingestion.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 6 of 13 Winners, 1 Perfect, 350 Points   |   Tied for 1750th

Jones vs. Gustafsson II
Jon Jones, TKO, R3
i'm a jones mark so i truly believe he's the best ever so far, dirty or not, and i'm having a hard time seeing how gus' inactivity over the past few years is gonna help him do any better than he did the first time around when jon was still putting stuff up his nose every night. was gonna choose decision, but i'll spice it up and say jon goes out there to make a statement.

Justino vs. Nunes
Cristiane Justino, DEC
i think cris knows this is a big test for her and won't let herself get the sloppy kind of aggressive in opening rounds like she does against some lesser competition. possible she turns it up in later rounds once amanda starts to tire, but i'm gonna guess she plays it safe and picks her shots strategically for 25 min.

Condit vs. Chiesa
Mike Chiesa, DEC
hard to put faith in condit at this point in time. could he control the striking and make everyone feel silly? of course he could, but he could also get his back taken early and get tapped again. just not sure he's gonna find a finishing blow before chiesa finds his back and he's pretty good at that if nothing else.

Latifi vs. Anderson
Ilir Latifi, TKO, R2
not sure anderson is gonna outwrestle latifi and he would seem to be at the disadvantageous end of the punching power scale. ilir seems like one of the few genuine contenders left at 205, anderson is more just one of the few guys left that has benefited (rankings wise) from everyone at the actual top either leaving lhw or being suspended or injured.

Mendes vs. Volkanovski
Chad Mendes, DEC
the volkanovski train might get sidelined for a minute here because chad isn't gonna play the role of punching bag like elkins likes to do for the first round of his fights. kind of a "new vs old" mirror match, i'll take the more proven fighter despite his ko losses because i think the suspension layoff might have been good for his brain. either way, winner of this has a legitimate claim at max.

Arlovski vs. Harris
Walt Harris, TKO, R2
andrei can beat guys who are afraid of him, but he doesn't have the pop in his punches anymore to make me think he can stop walt from coming forward and landing more. both have questionable chins though so who knows what happens.

Anderson vs. Zingano
Megan Anderson, DEC
i've wanted to believe in cat for so long, prior to her husband's suicide and blowing out her knee i really thought she was the one to beat ronda, but i'm just not sold anymore and she's only getting older. no shame for megan in losing to holly, most everyone would, and she has a pretty large size advantage. if she can keep it standing, she could outland cat. i agree she's the underdog, but i hate picking with my heart so i'm gonna give cat another chance to prove me wrong and really get her career back on track.

Yan vs. Andrade
Douglas Andrade, DEC
i'm gonna take the underdog here. yan is far too overhyped for beating a clearly one dimensional ishihara and styling on a punching bag. andrade might not make it pretty, but he's the more proven fighter.

Penn vs. Hall
Ryan Hall, DEC
bj shouldn't be fighting, we all know this, but at least ryan hall isn't gonna hurt him too much standing and maybe we'll get some fun scrambles out of it?

Wood vs. Ewell
Nathaniel Wood, DEC
hard to make much of either's debut as both were wins over aging vets who are clearly not at the top of their game anymore. i guess i feel like wood would have made a victory over barao more clear than ewell did, but that's about the best i got for this pick. coin flip really.

Hall vs. Lewis
Bevon Lewis, TKO, R2
feels like i'm getting swept up by the hype of a jon jones training partner, but bevon really looked the part of a genuine prospect. lightning can always strike with uriah, but he can also be the one getting struck so i'll suspend disbelief and say he finds a way to lose again.

Millender vs. Bahadurzada
Siyar Bahadurzada, SUB, R2
seems like siyar is finally healthy and active again so i think his more well rounded skillset will pay dividends here. millender looks crisp when he strikes, but we've seen siyar work his wrestling when need be.

Kelleher vs. Jackson
Brian Kelleher, SUB, R2
jackson could end up showing why he had some hype, but i don't think he can replicate the kind of beating lineker put on kelleher to get the tko so i'll assume brian's wrestling plays a factor. probably a decision, but i'll guess sub for fun.
