Predictions: 1 of 3 Winners, 0 Perfect, 65 Points | Tied for 1672nd
Jeremy Stephens, TKO, R1
I forgot who said it, but Conor broke José mentally and Max broke his spirit. The book is out on how to beat José and Jeremy has the power to do it in brutal fashion.

Tecia Torres, DEC
This seems like it should be an easy JJ victory, but I'm hoping that Rocky's last fight empowers Torres to bring some pain. Tecia beat Rose back in the day and they're now training with one another, Rose beat Joanna back-to-back, my only hope is that Tecia humbles JJ and it sticks this time.

C'mon MMA gods, do your due diligence and screw up this obvious squash match

Dustin Poirier, TKO, R3
picked dustin first time through, gonna stick with it. i guess i think he has the sharper punches and higher chance of ko, though eddie probably has a wrestling advantage if he decides to only selectively engage.
Aldo vs. Stephens
José Aldo, DEC
we gotta pump the breaks on stephens a bit. he looks awesome in his recent wins, but they were all fights i readily expected him to win. he's not holloway and technical fighters still give him fits.
Jędrzejczyk vs. Torres
Joanna Jędrzejczyk, DEC
tecia is a top 5 fighter, but i don't think joanna has fallen off far enough to get outpointed here. who knows though, back to back losses can be defeating.
Hernandez vs. Aubin-Mercier
Olivier Aubin-Mercier, DEC
mercier has only really lost technical fights and it seems like hernandez is more of a finisher. he can outpoint if he can avoid getting his back taken, but i'd rather be surprised than clinging to the chance of a ko.
Mein vs. Morono
Alex Morono, DEC
still not buying the jordan mein redemption tour so i'll pick morono to outlast him and pick up the scorecards.
Dawodu vs. Arnett
Hakeem Dawodu, TKO, R2
dawodu's opponents that he beat have been much better than arnett's, but it's possible that austin finds a td and then a sub. still leaning towards hakeem to be the bully.
Makhachev vs. Johnson
Islam Makhachev, DEC
totally agree that makhachev is the favorite, but the odds are a little wide. what it comes down to is that the ufc has been coddling kajan a bit with easy fights and guys coming off losses. unless he lands the perfect counter, i think we see him backpedaling for most of the fight.
Antigulov vs. Cutelaba
Gadzhimurad Antigulov, SUB, R1
nice step up for both of these guys, winner becomes semi-relevant at 205. cutelaba has nights where he looks like a monster and others where he can't get it going, both are finishers through and through. i think antigulov just has more ways to win i guess.
Makdessi vs. Pearson
John Makdessi, DEC
ross has power, but hasn't ko'd someone in 3 years. makdessi has a questionable chin, but his ko losses have come via kicks. not expecting either to bring it to the mat so i'll go with the more technical and slightly less shopworn fighter.
Davis vs. Chookagian
Katlyn Chookagian, DEC
feels like a guaranteed decision. davis isn't really a td artist and chookagian probably isn't gonna try to bring it down, so i guess that means she peppers from outside for 15 min.
Ortiz vs. Nicolau
Dustin Ortiz, DEC
ortiz can make it close with top guys, but nicolau is one of those new breed guys coming from brazil. i'm just gonna go with the method of picking what i don't want to happen so that i'm satisfied regardless.
Markos vs. Ansaroff
Nina Ansaroff, DEC
had my doubts about nina when she first surfaced in invicta, but her last 2 wins have really showed the potential that she was pegged to have. randa, on the other hand, has been a little disappointing to me. she has a legitimate top game, but not always enough tools to get it there, and her main striking weapon should be easy enough for nina to anticipate.
Powell vs. Herrera
Alvaro Herrera, TKO, R2
i don't know what to make of this matchup, but jordan rinaldi isn't awful and hadn't be subbed before so i'll take herrera and hope that jackson-wink has been fixing his game.

Torres is awesome but I think the height/reach disadvantage is going to be a huge problem for her.
