Dear UFC,
Can we get Alvarez/Poirier once a year? Let's do this again in 2019.
Signed,
The Fans.

So many wars for Eddie. That was another great fight. I’m a big fan. Dustin was the hungrier dog. Like we say in Philly the hungrier dog runs faster. Eddie has nothing left to prove. He’s HOF

Lol***. Talking about "rising from the ashes" and "he's back." Give me a break. I don't know what people thought about Aldo. Holloway and McGregor are bad matchups. Give Aldo a fight against primarily a wrestler and he'll do the same thing he did to Stephens to the wrestler. I just don't understand the commentary.

@Rappins not at the end of the fight, Mcgregor off his back. Unless it's OK to drop 12-6 elbows in guard, I have no idea. But to my mechanical sensibilities there's no functional difference between the elbows Mcgregor dropped and what Alvarez was called on. I submit that the ones Conor dropped were more dangerous because any one of those could have landed on the back of the head/ spine.
Doesn't seem to be much if any consistency when it comes to this stuff. Anyway I can't upload giphs to Tapology any more, I think it's an extension on my end. The link shows the elbows.

@fish i've noticed that for a long time. Sometimes they call it and sometimes they dont.
I think its not the twelve to six motion that makes it illegal its what part of the elbow u hit with.
Tricep side of the elbow or forearm side of the elbow r legal but if u spike it straight down with the
Middle part of the elbow thats illegal. Bad name shold b called spiking but if u say spiking people think
Of dropping someone on their head.

I think because that is 9 to 3. Even if it had been 12 to 6, they wouldn't have punished Conor for it anyways. They needed him to win that fight at all costs.

They almost never call the guy off his back doing it, it almost exclusively call when your on top. However they ares a bit inconsistent when calling it on top. It def a ******** rule as well.
Rapp stop it with these ******** comments. So now the Refs are trying to get Conor to win? Your straight up delusional. Your hate for Conor has completely rotted your brain. The ref's don't benefit in the slightest from Conor winning nor do they give a ****. They get no extra money nor any incentive in the slightest for conor to win. It is far more likely that a ref would rig a fight due to Vegas\betting instead of some favor to the UFC who are not there employers and has never been very kind to the Refs. So please explain to us all why on earth a Ref would knowingly help Conor? Honestly we know you hate the guy, but this is just pathetic. If anything they want to call something on conor, since conor normally a massive favorite, the money would be to put it on the underdog and then find a ******** way to make conor lose or the fight be a DQ so then only vegas wins.

So your saying the Ref's are rigging fights in favore of conor despite the fact there is literally no gain for them in doing so?. They are not employees of the uFC, they are not paid by the UFC. If someone was going to pay off the ref it be Vegas and they would not have the overwhelming favorite with all the money on them win. So again *** are you talking about? Do you just enjoy the taste of your own foot?
On by the way im a Holloway\Ferguson fan, you dip****, conor does not even make my top 10 favorite fighters.
