If they need a last minute opponent for Shevchenko, I hear Kamaru Usman is ready to replace anyone.

Well Till made it. He didn't look great up there, but I've definitely seen people look a lot worse.

Imagine how much it would suck if he missed weight now that the co-main has been cancelled. Good job Darren Till.

This is a weak fight card. No way around it, and that was before the Montana fiasco. I'm getting tired of these $*** cards being passed off as ppv worthy. 4-6 years ago this would have been a pathetic Fox card. Now it's one excellent ppv per quarter surrounded by turd sandwiches.

+@Bach it's a bit like that joke about the fixed card game.
Two guys at bar are talking, and one says to the other 'I'm gonna buy into that underground poker match that's happening at the back of the bar'. 'That game is crooked' says the other other guy. 'Yeah I know, says the first guy, 'but it's the only game in town'.

@
mbach4307:
As said before, the only way around all this is by having less cards in a calendar year. That's obviously not happening anytime soon. So the next best thing would be to have tiered PPV events. Having one massive PPV card per quarter, that is stacked up and down. While having two smaller additional PPV cards ever quarter as well.
That's pretty much what we're getting now, but they should switch to tiered pricing as well. $80-$100 for one of the special UFC tent-pole events and $20-$30 for the regular smaller events.

Oh no. Cant beleave it. U guys have said it all. Yes she should b stripped. Hasn't even had a real ufc fight yet and u miss the first title defense after stalling for over a year. she is still running scared. ****en 4-2 record. Give me a break. She should b stripped and the belt givin imediatly to valentini who is clearly the women to beat at flyweight. ******* pathetic. So much for her warrior spirit that she wouldn't shut up about. Not that it would have helped against bullet who has multiple championships in multiple fight leagues over 50 fights what a ****en joke montano is. Hate to say i told u so to all u ************s who pretended her championship was legitamite. Worst paper champ ever. Most undeserving since brock lesner. She is a joke doing mma for a couple years. Only reason a belt was even up for grabs in that pathetic tournament was for ratings.
Take note ufc your starting to piss me off ****en *******s.

@fish
They aren't the only game in town this month. Canelo vs ggg 2 is next week. I can't wait. That's up there with fights I have to see. Only Woodley vs Till is on that level on this card.
@unbeknownst
I LOVE that idea. And they should have contingencies in place like they did with Usman and what they are doing with UFC 229. If something happens to khabib or conor, tony is sliding right in.

Yeah man, Hyped as **** for GGG vs Canelo 2. As the fight draws nearer I'm thinking Alvarez wins, but I'm hoping like hell I'm wrong.

Andrade thinks she's "risking a title-shot" by fighting? Rose isn't fighting anytime soon and who says Jessica deserves it anyway? So her plan was to wait it out til she got the title-shot..no wonder she went broke. Her stupidity amazes me.
In terms of understanding the fight game, Andrades makes Mike Perry seem like a scholar.

If she beats KK then I just don't see how she hasn't earned the title bout. And I think if she does lose to KK then the UFC won't give her rose because she doesn't draw, She should get it all things being equal however.Beat the living **** out of Gadelha and if she does the same to KK (I expect she will) then she will have wrecked every fighter that has either beaten Namajunas or given JJ trouble (KK). JJ has lost twice to Namjunas and should be given KK again regardless of the outcome of this weekend.
Moreoever I am pretty sure Andrade is going to merk rose unfortunately, just a very bad fight for thug.

So like I said, she needs to beat KK first before she starts pretending to be a challenger again. Joanna was hit 7 times in that fight.

Yeah no, that's nuts. Andrade's got nothing for Valentina. Not sure why anyone even gives slack the time of day TBH, I could carve a better analyst out of a banana.

Sterling vs. Stamann
Aljamain Sterling, DEC
The MMA Gods should piss all over this obvious MMAmath attempt. The Caraway that lost to Cody looked like he had jumped on the downside of his career with downhill momentum compared to the guy who beat Aljamain.
