Magomedsharipov vs. Davis
Zabit Magomedsharipov, TKO, R2
Credit to Davis for taking the fight. He will get a payday and the UFC will probably keep him around for another fight but it will be a bad day at the office. Zabit by TKO

Andrade vs. Kowalkiewicz
Jéssica Andrade, DEC
Andrade should earn a title shot with a good performance here. She may very well be the best fighter in the division.

Fight just got a lot tougher for Little Fury Roberto Sanchez. I had him winning against Benoit.

Jarred Brooks came really close to beating Figuereda who just smashed Moraga in his last fight. And Brooks was also looking good against The Former Titan Double Champ Shorty Torres but knocked himself out.

I think he'll use his wrestling in reverse in outpoint Sanchez for a UD. Not really worried about the short notice weight cut with Brooks. He use to fight at 115lbs before he joined the Ufc.

Predictions: 7 of 12 Winners, 1 Perfect, 420 Points   |   Tied for 1337th

Woodley vs. Till
Darren Till, DEC
Tyron doesn't know how to handle Till's pressure. Till being a sound grappler will be able to avoid Tyron's takedown attempts/be quick to get on his feet once taken down & keep the fight standing. Till's movement avoids Woodley's power overhand and Till edges it out in a decision.

Montaño vs. Shevchenko
Valentina Shevchenko, TKO, R2
Valentina by murder in round II.

Magomedsharipov vs. Davis
Zabit Magomedsharipov, TKO, R2
Zabit finds his chops and loosens up in round II. TKO victory for the rising prospect.

Andrade vs. Kowalkiewicz
Jéssica Andrade, TKO, R3
Though cute as a button, Karolina doesn't have an answer for Jessica's forward pressure. Andrade closes the show halfway through round III.

Price vs. Razak Alhassan
Niko Price, TKO, R2
Price gets it done with hammerfists even though Alhassan has his back. Somehow.

I think the Woodley/Till fight is too much about the weight cut for Till. I can't see him looking great for 5 rounds. Sounds like he's mentally already thinking about 185 after this opportunity.

Woodley vs. Till
Tyron Woodley, DEC
won't be surprised if it's a staring contest with woodley afraid to commit and till afraid to get too close. + odds for woodley? interesting.

Montaño vs. Shevchenko
Valentina Shevchenko, DEC
obviouisly valentina is the favorite, but the odds are terribly misleading. she hasn't ko'd anyone in 5 years and everyone she has ko'd has less than 5 fights and a losing record. nicco doesn't take rounds off and we all know far too well that valentina does. positive odds for fight makes it to r5 sound decent to me.

Magomedsharipov vs. Davis
Zabit Magomedsharipov, SUB, R2
props to the guy for stepping up, but he's probably gonna get run through.

Andrade vs. Kowalkiewicz
Jéssica Andrade, DEC
this is gonna come down to karolina's footwork. if she can stay mobile, she can chip away when given the chance, but if she plants then she's gonna get blasted over and over again.

Price vs. Razak Alhassan
Niko Price, SUB, R2
alhassan is fun to watch, but ultimately overrated. price has already taken out some big punchers.

Esparza vs. Suarez
Tatiana Suarez, DEC
i don't think carla's wrestling is on tatiana's level, but i do think she's good enough to scramble and survive. i just don't think she'll be able to end up on top for any significant amount of time and she's very likely outgunned on the feet.

Sterling vs. Stamann
Aljamain Sterling, DEC
as long as aljo doesn't get too ****y, he should be able to stick and move and pick up scorecards.

Rivera vs. Dodson
Jimmie Rivera, DEC
dodson doesn't have that pop anymore so his threat is more about points and i think jimmie can keep up.

Stewart vs. Byrd
Charles Byrd, SUB, R2
seems set up in byrd's favor. we've seen stewart fall apart of the ground and byrd probably intends on taking him there.

Sanchez vs. White
Craig White, TKO, R1
part of me really wants to say diego by split decision, but let's go with white by some sort of finish instead. diego hasn't been subbed before so i guess that means i'm taking tko.

Miller vs. White
Alex White, DEC
i really wanna believe jim can turn back the clock and re-find his kickboxing game, but i'm afraid of making too many heart picks, so i'll say white outworks and outlasts him.

Aldana vs. Pudilová
Lucie Pudilová, DEC
been a fan of aldana since invicta days, but her game doesn't ever seem to evolve. she looks like a powerhouse for 5 minutes and then just a sloppy boxer for 10. lucie hasn't deal with that sort of power yet, but i think she can outlast and outpoint the sometimes overly cautious irene.

Brooks vs. Sanchez
Jarred Brooks, DEC
would be fun if sanchez could catch brooks, but i think he gets stuck in a boring fight where brooks chooses when to engage.

Camacho vs. Neal
Frank Camacho, DEC
neal has the reach advantage, but if he doesn't set the pace then frank will and that guy likes himself a brawl. i guess i just need more than a win over the lesser camozzi before getting behind neal.

If Nicco misses the fight she needs to be stripped. She is an inactive Champion that really doesn't deserve the belt.

Montano is going to take an absolute beating by MMA fans for this one, especially after saying Schevchenko was dreaming yesterday if she thought she wouldn't make it to the fight.

I am bummed that I won't be able to see this fight this weekend (I have a personal quest to see a title fight for every weight class) but I am glad this is the title fight that was sacrificed to the MMA Gods in order to get Woodley-Till on what is now a 13 fight card with some pretty fun match-ups from top to bottom. I can't wait for tomorrow!

Got to agree with Itz Scoop. Champions who miss weight should be stripped automatically. The fact she never got on the scale is a technicality more than anything.
