    Prediction Comments

    Predictions: 5 of 12 Winners, 1 Perfect, 300 Points   |   Tied for 1524th

    Dillashaw vs. Garbrandt
    Cody Garbrandt, TKO, R1
Man, I got burned on this fight last time. I thought Cody was simply going to have too much power and TJ wouldn't be able to hurt him because he was so much bigger. So much for that. lol. I still feel Cody has the physical advantages. I'm betting on him that he closed the skill gap.

    Johnson vs. Cejudo II
    Demetrious Johnson, DEC
Really hard to pick Cejudo here. He obviously wants no part of a stand up fight. I feel a little as though he's an olympic gold medalist. If his wrestling wasn't good enough to keep Mighty Mouse on the ground last time, that's probably as good as it was going to get, right?

    Swanson vs. Carneiro
    Renato Carneiro, DEC
Just going to side with a slight reach advantage, highers striking output, and youth on this one.

    Viana vs. Aldrich
    Polyana Viana, SUB, R1
Polyana is a straight beast. I don't see Aldrich stopping the TDs and it will only be a matter of time before she makes a mistake and gets submitted.

    Santos vs. Holland
    Thiago Santos, TKO, R1
    Poor Kevin Holland,

    Munhoz vs. Johns
    Brett Johns, DEC
I bet after I make this pick, I'm going to be WAY on the wrong side of the public, but I think this fight is a lot closer than vegas has it. If he doesn't get submitted, I can see Johns winning rounds. His hands and grappling are legit.

    Simon vs. Jackson
    Montel Jackson, DEC
Both tough guys. I thought I read something about Montel Jackson being an Olympic wrestling hopeful, but couldn't find anything on that. Tape would indicate that isn't true, or he's REALLY hopeful. lol. Close fight, but I give Jackson the edge on the feet.

    Moraes vs. Sayles
    Sheymon Moraes, DEC
Moraes looks like he has the edge on the feet. He's the bigger guy with a solid reach advantage and he can strike.

    Sayles vs Moraes

    Predictions: 0 of 2 Winners, 0 Perfect, 0 Points   |   Tied for 1873rd

    Matt Sayles, KO/TKO
As stated above Moraes appears to be a little on the bigger side I will agree, however he is nowhere near being on the same striking or wrestling level with Sayles. I don't see it going that way at all.... 👊+👊=😴

Cody definitely punches harder and is the better pocket boxer. He nearly ended TJ's night in the first and really Dillashaw was saved by the Bell.

The punch that floored Garbrandt would have dropped anyone. Caught him right behind the ear. It totally ****s you, even if you get a glancing shot to that area it will have you doing the funky chicken because it scrambles your equilibrium.

I think Power goes to Cody, conditioning is a push, slight edge to Dillashaw in grappling, and footwork is a push.

They are two of the most evenly matched fighters on the roster, and either could win any given night.

who got knocked out? only advantages cody has is speed and better boxing. TJ is the better grappler by far and is the better all around striker and TJ also has fight IQ advantage and coaching advantage....if you got back and look at the records cody doesn't have a single ufc knockout win that's overly impressive..... mizugaki is old and chinny almeida is good but he doesn't have a chin on him and mendes well that guy isn't very good at all....

Imo there is only one must watch fight on this whole card. And thats a rematch too. Should be dj vs tj but instead we get two rematches. This may become a replay card.

    Prediction Comments

    Predictions: 5 of 12 Winners, 1 Perfect, 300 Points   |   Tied for 1524th

    Kang vs. Ramos
    Ricardo Ramos, SUB, R2
Ramos is legit. He's billed as a BJJ ace, but he keeps knocking guys out lately. Kyung is kind of a beast as well, but I'm going to have to see him perform well vs someone better than Guido Cannetti before I'm convinced he can hang in the UFC.

    Torres vs. Perez
    Alex Perez, DEC
This is a tough one, IMO. Perez is solid and he should have the overall skill advantage. The thing is that I don't think he has the hands to hurt Shorty. But he could still outpoint him if he can avoid getting caught. Torres' style is to wear his opponent out and turn on the heat later. Not sure if Perez will wear out in a 3 rounder though. I lean Perez by decision, but I'm not going to be surprised if Shorty knocks him out.

    Taylor vs. Zhang
    Weili Zhang, TKO, R1
I like Zhang. She comes out like a storm and she's a finisher. Taylor always surprises me because she's almost always shorter than her opponents with a reach disadvantage, but her footwork, hand speed, and accuracy are so good, she outscores them. The thing is that I don't think she's fought any real strikers. I think Zhang will come out fast and overwhelm Taylor.

    Vera vs. Buren
    Marlon Vera, TKO, R2
This is just a total mismatch. Vera will soften Wuliji up with leg and body kicks, and when he slows down and stops moving, Vera will KO him.

    Dillashaw vs. Garbrandt
    T.J. Dillashaw, TKO, R2
cody relies on guys being afraid of him and tj won't give him that.

    Johnson vs. Cejudo II
    Demetrious Johnson, SUB, R3
thinking dj let's henry tire himself out a bit before he reverses a td attempt, passes, and finds an arm.

    Swanson vs. Carneiro
    Renato Carneiro, DEC
we all love to watch cub fight, but we need to stop pretending that he's beating top contenders. moicano has no ko's, but he's a fully competent striker and is capable of controlling things on the ground.

    Viana vs. Aldrich
    JJ Aldrich, DEC
viana hasn't beaten anyone worth mentioning.

    Santos vs. Holland
    Thiago Santos, TKO, R2
weird booking, wonder if they think santos is done. i get that holland can hit hard too, but santos is the wrong guy to get ballsy with.

    Munhoz vs. Johns
    Pedro Munhoz, DEC
munhoz is competent everywhere and i don't think will be afraid to engage.

    Simon vs. Jackson
    Ricky Simon, DEC
    more experience?

    Kang vs. Ramos
    Ricardo Ramos, SUB, R1
i think ramos might be one of those blue chip prospects people talk about, he seems to have a complete game for someone so young.

    Moraes vs. Sayles
    Sheymon Moraes, TKO, R2
moraes is legit everywhere, his losses have come against absolute top competition. i'm not sold on sayles as a ko artist.

    Torres vs. Perez
    Jose Torres, DEC
i don't have a great reason for my pick other than that i don't always trust dana's guys.

    Taylor vs. Zhang
    Weili Zhang, TKO, R2
zhang has fought some scrubs with some okay competition mixed in, but has steamrolled them all. taylor just doesn't through enough to make me think she can take rounds here.

    Vera vs. Buren
    Marlon Vera, SUB, R2
felt like they brought buren in just so dy could have a competitive fight, vera "should" be too much.
