Is it possible to have the option to revert back to the old layout?
It was very convenient being able to see all the opponents records and the promotions the fight took place for in a nice concise layout.

We'll be making some tweaks to this new layout, but the old layout cannot be reverted to. When web pages change it's always difficult and takes some getting used to. But there are a number of considerations we have to make in order to keep the website moving forward. Some of these considerations are not always apparent.
Lastly we had to remove your avatar. No pepe the frog or similar avatars are allowed here.

Tapology has the best fighter database around, but I definitely preferred the old layout. If I have to click on each fight to see fighter record's and weights etc, why not add even more info, like the opponent's weight, where the fight took place etc? Just a suggestion if maybe you want even more work to do.

If I had to critique something about the new Fighter profiles it is having the Canceled fights popping up in their history. I actually really like that there is a show details option for their actual fights though.

@jody one note is you can click above the entire record to "Show Detail View" and it will expand all of them at once.
@bigj canceled fights were in the old view also. maybe it's that they look a little more prominent now, take up more room?

I'm happy I don't pick many fights anymore,this new layout would kill me.

I liked the old Tapology layout since it was vastly superior to Sherdog's. The current one is pretty much the same as Sherdog's now.
The old layout was better graphically since it made better use of color and symbols to present information that can be processed quickly. Having the entire bar colored as green/red is much better than a small side panel with a bit of green/red, especially when you're trying to process a bunch of information. The use of flags to present the country of origin of the fight was also a quick way to process that information.
The detailed view is too cluttered to be an efficient way to process fight information.

Can someone explain to me as an outsider why pepe the frog is so offensive? I don't get it. By that I mean I don't really understand what it stands for/symbolizes. I have a vague notion that it has something to do with Trump supporters, but beyond that I have no idea.

It started out meaning nothing, but now some people use it as a hate symbol:

Since there's no reason you would choose it as your Tapology image unless you were trying to either make a statement or troll people into a dumb debate about it, we simply don't allow it. There's 1 trillion other images people can use.

Well, I read the article which does everything except illustrate exactly how pepe the frog is 'anti-semetic'. Sounds like social constructionist hysteria to me Greg, If I'm perfectly honest. It's not exactly a swastika. Apparently the creator has absolutely no alignment with the Alt-right, so there's that too.
We've got a right-wing Jew down here in Australia ( Avi Yemini) who I'm pretty sure has defended the use of Pepe the frog on free speech grounds. He's fairly widely rejected by the broader Jewish community though, except for the ultra-nationalistic and fairly nutty Israel lobby, and even they would probably rather not have any association with him but for the fact he's got a respectable following both online and in the community and happens to share their agenda ( well, at least the dominant aspect of it).
He's anti- Islam, pro-free speech, anti-immigration etc, the usual--which would normally attract the Nazi crowd, but he's a Jew, so you've got this kind of weird kind of desperate allies situation between the ordinary racist, traditional nationalist sector and the new breed of emerging nationalists who nobody really understands yet. It's not much to worry about until they unify, but given how tenuous their relationships are owing to the fact that secretly they all despise one another it seems unlikely that will happen and if it did I suspect it would all dissolve pretty quickly.
I get why you'd ban Pepe on the basis that it's heavily politicized and would result in ****fights and general pot-boiling and you'd rather not have to clean it up all the time.But the fact we have to ban cartoon frogs is all the same a pretty sad indictment of how amazingly ridiculous everything has become.

Why no pepes? It's just a silly 4chan meme. Not only that the ADL, and its counterpart the SPLC, aren't really the most unbiased organizations in the world nowadays. They will find literally anything that has to do with far right extremism, but far left and Islamist extremism? Not so much. Plus the Verge is a Vox Media subsidiary, and they slant as hard to the left as that crazed socialist Ocasio-Cortez does.
But back on topic, the new record thing is alright I suppose. Although I thought the old one was just fine as is.

One major problem is you can't see the opponent records without clicking on the individual fights.

Opponent records are going to re-appear in the main view (without needing to expand to show detail).
Appreciate the feedback. We think over time the new design will feel more natural. But there are also tweaks and changes based on your feedback.

Looks like maybe I'm in the minority, but I kinda like the new layout. Much less cluttered. Cleaner.

Glad to hear it @AnAlias! Yes we are trying to have a dual-mode clean vs detailed depending on what the user wants. But we understand that it's uncomfortable to have such a big change.

I think it's better. It's basically just the same thing as it was before, except now it is more organized than two year old's toy chest. Less chart Junk.
