Bisping recognizes it immediately

That scares me for guys that young with so much experience. Hopefully it’s not a reoccurring thing for him.  Hope it doesn’t turn 8mto a sad story.

It does look like they made the right decision here, and I personally don't want to see Max back at 227 in August. Maybe 228 in September at the earliest. He needs to see how this develops. Concussions are weird. You can bounce back in a matter of days, or you can be in a fog for months or even years, ala TJ Grant.

It does absolutely suck, though. It makes it really hard to get really excited about tentpole events when MMA fans have been conditioned to expect the unexpected on fight week. Still a good card, but this was the most compelling fight on the docket IMO.

@Freemoney

*** are you rambling on about?  Max does not cut form 185 pounds, not sure where the heck you got that from.. Max did not miss weight for this fight, he has concussion. He also only has missed weight once and was because it was extremely short notice.  Not really sure what your rambling on about.

When he missed the one time u refer too he was cutting from 185 the weight
he was at got that from his own words in a interview.
And just because they said concussion like symptoms does not mean
He has a concussion. If that was the case they would have just said he has a concussion. No?
If u watch the above video you'll notice bisping asks right away
About his weight cut. I've gone through weight cuts. A severe weight cut makes you sluggish
And sleepy and has concussion like symptoms.

Thats what im talking about.

What a wild sport. Imagine wondering if the 2 teams in the super bowl were going to make it or if the game has to be cancelled. I know apples and oranges, but I was really looking forward to this card with this fight as the co-main. With that being said, I'm glad they pulled Max. The worst brain injuries occur with consecutive concussions.

@mbachC3P0

Stars get hurt in sports all the time. You're a PA wrestler, you've seen the difference in lineups when an individual sport starter goes down compare to replacement at times. Crazy
