Prediction: Emelianenko  |  Decision

I had a heart attack when I saw the Pettis kick but it's time to move on.  FEDOR vs BIGFOOT?  Hey I dunno about you but that's a pretty cool Strikeforce main event.

Does Bigfoot have a chance? I say yes but only if he can close the distance and start using his size/power advantage in grappling and caveman pounding.

Why don't you like him? All the contract/negotiation/not-in-UFC stuff?

That's a short camp for Silva. Just fought 2 weeks ago and now only has just over a month to prep for Fedor. This is more a must win for Fedor.

It could be a short camp for Paul Daley too. If the Miller/Diaz situation doesn't get sorted out who else could Diaz fight?

I like this fight. Makes sense from a rankings point of view, with Fedor coming off of a loss. I think Fedor is a much better fighter than Silva, but the size could be a factor and Fedor is not a very active fighter these days.

I think Fedor's punching speed and power will be a bit too much for Silva, but I expect the Russian to be bloodied up no matter how long the fight lasts. He just doesn't absorb damage very well from a cosmetic point of view.

P4P best cosmetically at taking damage:  BJ? Anderson?

Neither of those guys ever looks like they've been touched. Penn after getting whooped by GSP for 4 rounds and Silva after being GnP'd by Sonnen for 5 rounds.

True.

Sonnen also hits like a butterfly. But BJ is unreal in that department. I would say he takes the cake off the top of my head.

I thought Overeem was suppose to Werdum's next opponent. That is if they can get their schedules aligned. Werdum is still recovering an injury I believe.

Fedor would beat Antonio Silva, but just because Silva's in SF, he won't get any credit whatsoever for beating him.
