What kind of abomination of an alternate dimension have I woken to today? So I'm guessing Max didn't make weight....and now we've got raging al vs nurmy. Jaysus, what a ****show. So what happens to felder now? Who is he fighting --an imaginary friend? Also felder should have been given the shot, I'm a big fan of al but Paul needs that payday more.

What I don't get is why the UFC didn't just pay Pettis the money he asked. Commission BS kept Max & Felder from the fight. UFC low-balled Pettis which isn't right.

I mean it's not for a belt for him so why do you think Iaquinta is that much more deserving than Felder?
I mean I honestly don't care either way but Felder fought 3 times in 2017 and Iaquinta fought once after a 2 year layoff because of pay issues.

Al apparently can not win the title because he weighed 155.2
So if Al somehow pulls this off the division is really ******, they would make Iaquinta vs Ferguson at that point and hope nobody slips on a cord, eats too much tiramisu or throws benches at buses.

Thanks!!. After Max, this seem like the best match up. I am little surprise UFC is a going with it, since they clearly dislike Al. I think this shows how desperate they are to keep this fight. I am very happy for both Nurmy and Al. This should be a crazy first round at least.

Khabib can win it, he made championship weight, but I still find this weird because neither Al or Max could fight for the belt because of weight but at least Max was an interesting fight for Khabib. I'm happy Al is saving the card and giving Khabib a fight it's just too bad it's not Max still :/

Ok well as long as we have a champ of some description after this I'm ok with it. Also Al is bad dude, he's a tough night out for anyone and could give khabib problems the way Tibau did. People will discredit khabib when he wins here, but tbh I don't think that Iaquinta is an easier fight than Alvarez who McGregor beat for the strap.

I’d much rather watch this fight than Nurmy/Pettis. I’m just happy that we’ll finally have a REAL Lighhtweight Champion when Khabib wins tomorrow night!
