Sounds like Dana is pulling Artem off the card now

Mike Bohn‏Verified account @MikeBohnMMA 16s17 seconds ago

Dana White just told reporters here in NYC that Artem Lobov is OFF the #UFC223 card on Saturday.

Brett Okamoto just reported not too long ago that the state of New York has a warrant for McGregor's arrest and that Dana implied in an interview that any and all future business with McGregor is done.

I think it's fair to say that McGregor has officially committed career suicide.

I highly doubt it. The UFC is about money and Conor can bring that in. Few months will pass and Dana will beg him to come fight!

@poir

If this was an isolated incident, maybe.

McGregor has been acting like a psychotic wild man for the better part of a year now and now the law is involved. When you add the fact that McGregor could permanently lose his work visa over this, it's not out of the realm of possibility. Now granted they have supported people who have done worse like Jones when he struck a pregnant woman's car. However, that was under the Fertittas. Who knows if Ari Emmanuel will want to stick this out.

Update from Okamoto saying that, despite the statements from Dana that there has been a warrant for McGregor's arrest, the NYPD is still investigating. Still, I doubt that the state of New York won't issue a warrant.

Mcgregor is excuse me, a straight-up ridiculous ****. Typical  sociopathic ego-maniacal Primadonna who can't handle not being the center of attention who rather than fighting, will throw a tantrum every other month just to keep himself in the news cycle.  Jumping in the cage was one thing, but this is a whole new echelon of fuctardery.

Even though he won't be, he needs to be banned from media events for fight cards he's not on. Let's not forget that Nick Diaz wasn't allowed to corner Nate for that fracas with Khabib's team.

And while we're at it, pull Lobov from the card, and  yeah-- let's cut him. His record is garbage, he's boring and he's only still in the UFC by virtue of being Mctapper's most beloved concubine.

None of this **** is excusable.

But the UFC and maybe the police will probably look carefully at video footage to determine who actually did what.  If there were 10 guys in Conor's posse, I don't think Conor should be entirely accountable for the actions of all 10 guys.

Conor needs to be gotten under control and he should pay the price for his role in this. But it should also be clearly evaluated what he personally did.

You can clearly see Conor smashing the bus window with a Trolley. I'm not sure if this if this is when Chiesa got cut, but if it is, Conor is getting litigated. He's dead to rights in this video.

In fact he's probably going to have his day in court regardless. This will result in more than a slap on the wrist. Definitely. That's reckless endangerment/intent to cause harm, mens rea. That's a felony. You're talking glass shrapnel exploding inwards, what if that **** had gotten in a fighter's eye? And no, I don't believe that this is Conor 'Hyping' a future fight with Khabib. I don't think he ever wants to fight khabib, and it is more likely he was deliberately trying to cause an injury to him so the fight would be cancelled and he didn't get his bogus belts taken away, and there'd be a chance he'd come back and fight somebody else.  He has a history of sabotage, like punching Nate's hand during a presser. Also shows a blatant disregard for bystanders, as in throwing gigantic full cans of monster at the Diaz entourage.

I blame WME and Dana for this as much as Mcgregor. They've created this Golem by sanctioning everything he ever does no matter how damaging, bizarre and/or childish or dangerous. But the buck has to stop somewhere.

It would be nice if this incident made McGregor go away for a long while, but it isn't likely.

Chiesa was cut up all over the face by the flying glass. Rose very nearly took damage as did KK apparently.

A lot of people are going to come after him. Lawsuits galore.

That's one expensive trolley.

Off course Artem is off the card! He should be off the UFC.

Chiesa is cut and will probably not be able to fight because the cut will make him easier to bleed in the fight! Who will pay is purse? Should be Artem and Connor (and not only the fight purse, the maximal available purse for him in this fight including "win" and potential "performance bonus"

Connor is strip this Saturday and won't get it back because Khabib and Tony could kill him in the cage. So he tries to make Khabib not-focus on the Saturday fight so Holloway could beat him (or Khabib could struggle with the emotional and does not make the cut to 155.)
