So before I found this AWESOME site, I used to always keep track of my main card/main event pick percentages on all UFC events from when I truly became a hardcore fan prior to UFC 96. I know that I'm pretty new here but I still think when it comes to the most important fights that I am right there with anyone on this site at picking fights with elite talent. I've only picked 4 UFC events on here so far so I know that I got a lot of way to go before I start getting recognition, but I am curious as to what other people's stats are on just main card/spike fights.
I am 19-3 in the last four events including 3-1 in the main event with my only wrong picks being Guillard/Lauzon, Hunt/Rothwell, and Shields/Ellenberger.
Not trying to brag just interested in seeing where I stand against the other really good fight pickers on the site!

Nice % you have there. Enjoy it while you have it, haha. I usually do pretty good at ufc but these last few I have been doing pretty bad. Especially 136. 4-7. Worst I have ever done on a ufc card.

Haha, I'm sure my main card percentage won't stay at 86% but from UFC 96 to now I'd estimate it's somewhere between 72-76% ... UFC 136 I went 9-2 ... of my 12 losses so far like 7 of them have been on fights on the BOTTOM of the card where I don't know much about the fighters. I don't know if I have a knack or what but I've tended to be infinitely better at picking fights than anyone I've came across, which is why I created this thread because I'm not ****y enough to actually think there's nobody better.

@daguentha only 3 main event picks? Do you only pick fights you're confident in or what? But nevertheless thank you for contributing to the thread.

I was looking at your overall record thinking that was your main card picks for some reason ... But that's not half bad, you got that blue belt pretty quick too!

Picking the main card of UFC's are easy, it's picking the small events where you have to do a little research and gamble on no-name fighters that separates the men from the boys.

fyi, you can check out some of the best percentages on the site by going to http://www.tapology.com/profiles

it doesn't break out undercard versus main or anything like that, but it's still a useful guide.

that being said, 72% will put you among the best anywhere -- if you can maintain it :)

I do make picks on the entire card for those saying I should. And I do have a ton of respect for those of you that make picks on regional cards where I have never heard of most of who is fighting. But, the fact is that the main cards of UFC cards are the fights people care most about and know most about. I understand these fights are easier to pick but I was just curious if anyone was in my neighborhood of picking the main cards as I usually never miss more than 1 fight per main card. And this was more of a warning to those who have established themselves as the elite at picking fights on this site that the messiah is coming for you!!!!!! lol

I generally do really well on the UFC events (averaging probably 9 or 10 out of 12) but I always do terribly on strikeforce. I try to pick every fight on any big card (all UFC and most SF), and with SF that really screws me over. I do really good on Bellator though.

I usually do best on undercard fights in the UFC. Main Card fights I tend to go more with who I want to win.

I don't think you can really look at your pick % utill you have picked at least +250 fights.  I have been able to break +70% a few times, but it is very hard to maintain.  Especially when picking international shows, regional shows, bellator, SF and UFC.

119/169(70.4%) on UFC for me while I've been picking on here. So somehow I actually do better picking other cards since my overall percentage is 70.9%...

I do really well on the undercard for some reason.
