9/30-10/1 Weekend Contest: Bacon

Yes, every weekend contest from here on out is going to have a random, pointless theme. This weekend we celebrate bacon and all the joy it can give you.  We've got 4 events lined up for your fight-picking pleasure this weekend.  Get those picks in!!!



Cage Warriors 44 is Saturday from London, England (streaming online!)




BEP 5: Breast Cancer Beatdown is Saturday from Fletcher, North Carolina




Bellator 52 is Saturday from Lake Charles, Louisiana (Spike.com and MTV2!)




UFC on Versus 6: Cruz vs Johnson is Saturday from Washington, D.C.





Contest Prizes:
First place will be 600 points, second place will be 300 points, and third place will be 150 points.  The champion also takes home r1zla's work of art:




Scoring:
Contest scoring uses regular Tapology scoring. You get 50 points for every fight you pick correctly, and extra points if you perfectly call the fight via decision or the method+round combination.  To score high and have a chance at winning the contest you'll need to pick as many of the fights as possible. Tapology is filled with fight-picking savages, so you'll need to bring your A-game.

How to enter:
Just pick the fights and you'll be automatically entered. No need to do anything else.

I believe that I have talked to Gregory before about the streams on GFL and he has said that they are usually legit. 

Why couldn't we pick for this event?

Yep, GFL.tv is a totally legit site and you can post links to anything they offer.

To answer swickotine's question, there are a ton of cards that we don't have the time or information to make available.  Bit by bit we hope to keep adding more.  There's a lot of information that we need to enter... new fighters into the database and all their info, as well as keep up to date on the latest fight card.  Keeping up to date on the fight card can be hard for small promotions, what with all the last-minute card changes and all.

Just realized there is an unusual amount of johnsons fighting on the UFC card.

@haugemachine25: If there i none of the many Millers on it the Johnsons do the job :D

@gregory oh ok, I was just surprised because we can pick alot of little org. and smaller fight cards, which is thanks to you guys for the awesome stuff/research you do with the available smaller events. I understand completely and yeah thanks for getting all the one's we do get to pick.

These weekend contest were there only a smaller number of events are hard. You do poor in one event and theres no coming back. Good luck

Im just scared of doing bad in that event with all those Female fights.
