Remember when Dariush was a much hyped prospect? Yeah, MMA happens fast.

dariush "should" finish, but it's totally possible that the opponent change results in beneil playing it for a safe decision.

I wonder if Hernandez is the real deal, or Houston Alexander.

It was an impressive debut but only times will tell. It could be a fluke. It could be a Sokoudjou situation. He could wind up being a Paulo Thiago where he starts off beating a ranked opponent to finishing his UFC run at 5-8. Or a Brandon Thatch or countless others who have exploded in their debut or first two fights only to fail miserably when they faced tougher competition.

He's definitely a prospect, but I'll need to see a win over one of the big fish in order to clamber aboard the hype train. Dariush is a good scalp but Beneil does tend to start slow and starts getting dangerous  R2 onwards, it takes a bit for him to get is eye in. Hernandez did exactly the right thing; came out beserk right out the gate and went for the finish.

LW is a shark tank though. An absolute shark tank. You've got Ferguson, Mcgregor, Khabib, Lee, Iaquinta, Alvarez and on and on and on. It's probably the deepest division in the UFC, it's either that or WW.

So yeah. He's gotta get through murderer's row, but he sure looks like a guy who might be able to.
