^I think so myself. 1-3-1 for Morales in his 5 fights with the UFC. Manny has 9 out 11 of his Professional W's by 1st Round Sub. Another 7 amateur Submission victories. All Pro W's by Submission for Manny have come in the 1st Round. Morales will likely get his pink slip with an L here

I see your point though zulizani and not trying to sway anybody from picking against Morales but I'd go as far as to say that Manny will be the real betting favorite as well.

I see what you're sayin too Detroit, especially considering Alves got tooled by Millender and I missed all the signs there yet I can't look at Morales loses as too much of bad thing considering he lost to Almeida, Johns and *cough* lopez.
As I am considering having a lazy bet on Morales I should be pushing the Bermudez credentials, try get the odds out but that's not what tapology is about.

In my opinion Morales beat Benito Lopez. He lost the first round and then went to win narrowly the next 2 rounds, Morales took the Bret Johns fight on short notice and didnt get subbed for 3 rounds. MANNY is a sub headhunter I looked over his record and his opposition alot of times were small dudes and old. I think many people thought Manny Lost to Saul ALmeida. The color commentators Pat Militech and the Aussie both felt it was a robbery. Morales is tough as **** When benito kneed him and went for the guillitone choke attempt Morales survived. If I have to pick I lean Morales he went the distance with Bret Johns, He beat Benito Lopez unofficial and he shouldnt be getting a pink slip. The dude takes fights on short notice and has a respectable showing.

no idea what bermudez's striking looks like, but morales just doesn't seem up to ufc speed. i'll trust the oddsmakers on this one.

@Eugene I definitely think the Benito was sketchy dec. That said, this will still be tough for me to call, being it was close either way and Manny is more of a specialist. Ive seen him a few goes and if I remember right, you’re right, he is a homerun hitter sub guy, without a lot to go on stand up wise (that I’ve seen at least). Though, again, no research here, but if I remember Morales can put himself in risky spots. Tough one to call off top of head. Might see if I have time to play some back for these guys. It’s always tough with debuting guys going against opener level UFC guys with close wins and losses. Lol.
