Should be a fun night of fights. The Cowboy vs Medeiros fight was a hard pick, i was thinking of picking Medeiros all week but decided to side with skill over durability. Unless he enters into a war with Medeiros he should outclass him everywhere.

At 155 I would pick Cerrone all day, but Yancy has been a different beast since moving to 170; it’s clear he was cutting too much weight before. Love Cowboy so I hope I’m wrong, but I just see Yancy being too big and explosive for him to handle.

As far as Fight Nights go I feel like this is one of the better cards Texas has gotten recently, card has pretty solid matchups from top to bottom. Glad I get to go to this one!

I thought about taking cowboy by submission but that was before I looked up Yancy's metrics and saw that he has an 87% TDD Rate...
I think sage by Sub is an interesting and clever pick.

@Fishrat that's just because getting knockdown doesn't count as a takedown. I love how relentless Yancy is, but he gets hit a lot. He can be sucessuful in pressuring Cowboy at a frantic pace. But I think the sub might come after Yancy inevitably gets hit by something.

Yeah, he does take a lot of shots....the fight with Oliveiera was a slobberknocker and I thought he was done more than once throughout it. I have to go with the guy who has surivided the shotds over the guy who hasn't though, however Till and Masvidal are surely harder hitting, and better strikers than Oliveiera.

Considering he still wants to fight until 40, odds on Burkman becoming Bellator's newest big free agent signing and joining Bellator's heavyweight grand prix as an alternate?

Whatever it is he decides to do, it shouldn't be in the UFC.
