Jaysus, this is an atrocious guppy-feed. The Women's FW division continues to be a failed experiment, really. There's got to be more competitive bouts to be made than this. Nunes vs Cybrg was the fight to make, I wonder why it got canned.

I don't think so.

Kunitskaya is legit, a better and more technical striker than Cyborg. She's gonna lose, but this is way less of a "sacrifice" than most of Cyborg's opponents are going to be.

UFC was desperate for a title fight main event. They had to throw one together on short notice. I'm sure Nunes v Cyborg is still on the way. They just didn't or couldn't put it together on short notice. I'm sure Nunes and Cyborg both want a full training camp for that fight.

Justino has never been terribly enthusiastic about fighting Nunes, stating Nunes is not a draw, and that she would prefer to defend her title against legitimate 145 pounders. Given that the vast majority of Justino's opponents have not been draws and that there are very few 145 lb women in the UFC, these excuses don't really hold much weight. Justino's reluctance to fight Nunes makes me want to see the fight happen even more.
