A lot of people seem to believe that Joanna lost to Rose mainly because of the former's drastic weight-cuts.
Don't get me wrong. Joanna's weight-cutting looks extremely painful to the extent I wish she no longer fights at Straw-weight, but instead moves up to flyweight. But the idea that her cutting too much weight was the sole reason for her loss doesn't sit right with me.
How come her cardio and reflexes looked stellar in her previous fights against Karolina Kowalkiewicz and Jessica Andrade, but took a sharp 180 turn against Rose Namajunas? If the weight cut did come into play, wouldn't we have noticed the negative effects gradually over time, rather than so suddenly?
Just my personal opinion though. I would like to hear your thoughts.
