Skill v Power. Experience v Hype.

Prediction: correct Miocic   wrong KO/TKO   wrong Round 2

IMO Francis has one way to win the fight, his boxing. after spending time watching Stipe countless fights he is undoubtably skilled enough to weather the storm meaning he will not take any of those monster shots.& I don’t necessarily think he will even need his wrestling, Stipe is very slick with his boxing quick sharp punches, using head movement & angles with the ability to change his levels with much ease, Stipe is a very underrated athlete. Dude played college baseball at D 1 level and wrestled followed that up by becoming a gold glove champion and has much much more experience against other ELITE hitters. Francis has 7 minutes to finish Stipe then his gas tank will diminish quickly we all know Stipe can go all night. He just has far to many weapons and is far to proven to go against him @ a great underdog price. AND STILL MIOCIC FINISHES HIM BEFORE CHAMPIONSHIP ROUNDS.

Prediction: correct Miocic   wrong KO/TKO   wrong Round 2

the price on Stipe makes me so happy. Francis gone learn there's levels to this sport if he don't KO Stipe in the first round.

There's nothing I've seen from Francis that makes me think he's got a gas tank issue or is defenseless on the ground. Blaydes is King Kong and couldn't do much with Francis on the ground, and while Francis did show some signs of running out of steam he still recovered quickly and started putting leather on him.

Blaydes is no slouch; he is a big, powerful, scary dude with a blitzkrieg of a blast double.

I think Stipe will try and fence grind Ngannou and maybe try and go up the pipe but will either not hit a TD, or will burn himself out trying to get it. He may steal a round or two doing this, but at some point, the ref is going to have had enough and is going to reset them in the center, where they exchange, and because Stipe frames up far too squarely, and Francis hits like a meteorite, he's going to get dropped. It's just an issue of what lands and how hard as to what the outcome of that will be.

Overeem Flashed Miocic and Struve beat the living **** out of him.

If Stipe wins he will have been able to do what no other UFC HW has done and that's defend their title 3 times in a single reign. This is a history making moment for Stipe and all the odds are stacked against him succeeding. If N'Gannou connects that could end the night for him.

Tough fight to solve, the first round will be all N'Gannou, and if HW's have a bad first round, usually more than not they get stopped. I don't like Miocic's head movement and tendency to take a few big shots to wake himself up in a fight. N'Gannou will lose if this goes past round 1-2 though.

Wouldn't be at all surprised to see N'Gannou score a quick knockout, but let's see if Stipe can keep his composure and wear him out.

Incredible performance from Stipe. survived the missiles in the first, came back to dominate every round and just took ngannou's will.

Still an impressive performance from Francis. This guy only started MMA five years ago and just went five rounds with Miocic. He's the future. He'll be back.

I'm not unimpressed by Stipe. He looked great, and he did what I thought he would plus much more. But I think it's... fair to criticize the lack of finish here, honestly. Stipe had the opportunity to finish throughout a majority of R3, literally the whole of R4, and the better part of R5. He seemed very, very OK letting it go the distance. Which is fine, because he swept him. Just saying. There were absolutely countless openings where Stipe could've finished, and he really should have done so.

Regardless; good showing from Stipe.
