This is a step up. Pretty clearly. Dempsey has been in there with solid guys, regardless of whether or not he won. Fully expect Ruth to win, but this is still actually a pretty nice step up for a guy going at the pace he is going. I like it.

It's kind of a step-up in competition in that Dempsey is experienced, but other than that, he doesn't really have anything to threathen Ruth with, at least on paper.
Fully expect Ed to run him over without much issue.

Dempsey has big show experience but is one of the worst fighters to pass through UFC in recent memory. So probably a great fight for Ruth at this point.
