Zhang vs Piraev should be fireworks. Biggest test of Marif's career easily. Toughest test for Lipeng since being cut. Awesome fight.

Very good fight. Didn't even know this was booked. Solid, solid stuff.

The Canarian fighter, Oscar Suarez, was crowned Kunlun Fight MMA World Champion, in the tournament held in China on August 28, after beating the Chinese fighter Meixuan Zhang

With only 19 years and against all odds, the Tenerife fighter, Oscar Suarez ( Shootdefense ), clearly won the champion and local idol Meixuan Zhang ( Xian Sports University ); who fell for the first time by KO before the Spanish, on August 28 at the Kunlun Fight World Championship # 14 held in the city of Qindao (China).

Oscar Suarez and his coach hold the champion belt

On the one hand, Oscar Suarez, who began his professional career with victory in the Men of Honor # 88, held in Granadilla, came with many illusions to this first great opportunity of his career, and on the other side, Meizuan Zhang, who came to the match with a record of 16 wins and 4 losses (being his last defeat on May 22, 2016) was a priori the favorite in the pools, but the desire of Suarez - who was making his second fight as a professional - clearly prevailed in just one assault.

Suarez gave a tremendous blow to the face of the Chinese, who fell to the ground with no other choice. Once on the ground to Tenerife was enough to unleash a combination of 3 punches to the face of his opponent to knock him out; forcing the referee to declare a clear victory in favor of the Spanish fighter.

After the fight Suarez was grateful to all those who have made it possible to appear in one of the most important international events, since he began competing in 2013; at the same time that he encouraged all those who have a dream to compete, to fight for what they believe in.
