Predictions: 8 of 11 Winners, 0 Perfect, 430 Points   |   Tied for 90th

Since the fall of the once considerable goat Ronda rousey, MMA fans have been looking the next great woman's MMA star. After defeating the original woman's straw weight champion, Carla esparza, Joanna jedrzejczyk has dominated the division with 5 mostly one sided title defences against the likes of Jessica andrade and Jessica penne to name a few. Many believe she is next woman's MMA goat. But standing in the champs way of a a record tying title defense is the MMA world's biggest dark horse rose namajunas. Most counted her defeated before she stepped into the cage against Paige van zany but she proved them wrong when brutalized Paige until getting her to tap to a rear naked choke in round 5. Then nobody thought she would even make it out of the first round against Michelle waterson. Then she submitted her as well. Now she faces Joanna and people are still counting her out. Will Joanna put on another striking clinic to tie Ronda rouseys record for most woman's UFC title defences? Or will underdog, rose namajunas shock the world take home the woman's strawweight championship?

Awesome event.  So far, all but the Zahabi-Ramos fight could be headliners in at least a Fight night show.

I wonder what the lines will be for the thug rose and Joanna fight? Hopefully the odds makers sleep on rose and give us a nice rich line. Sure roses' striking is nothing when compared to Joanna's but I feel rose can close the distance and push Joanna against the cage which we have seen Joann have troubles when pressured and moving backwards. The ground game of Joanna is still somewhat of a mystery and that is where thug will have the greatest advantage. I feel like rose is gonna come plotting forward and take Joanna's shots like a zombie and just keep pressing forward and will lock in a RNC for the wn!!! I know I know a pipe dream but hey it's MMA.

She looked renewed against Waterson and her jitz is way ahead of Joanna, could be!

Really hoping Rose takes it to the ground, takes the back, the submission, the win, and the belt!  She's not called 'thug' for no reason.

I see a path for rose to win with her aggressive submission game but Joanna isn’t one to sleep on her opponent

i think JJ's striking and ability to keep distance will get the win, but this match-up has the potential for massive upset.  I'm going to have a few bucks on Rose by submission at anytime, great value at $15.

Who would have thought that we would be talking about Joanna getting outstruck?
