1st time player, just read the rules but would like some clarification on a couple things because well, i'm an idiot.

1) Prop Bets are in fact allowed right?

2) What about Hedge bets? Even Hedge Prop bets? Rules doesn't mention anything

@massa

Prop bets are allowed if its listed on the odds site, you just have to post the odds along with your bet.

Hedge bets are not allowed

@massa also on prop bets the first person to post odds those will be the same odds for everyone else.... So like your 500 on edwars at 325 if that moves to 450 by the time I lock the odds everyone else that bets it still gets the 325

gotcha. So, strategically speaking I should wait til the night before to post my prop bets? I mean Im not all concerned with people betting the same thing as me since 99% of bets seem to be silly parlays that hardly ever work

You can do it however you want it, but if someone else posts before you it will be those odds for the prop bet. Basically there is just too many prop bets for me to post final odds on every time so to be fair the odds the first person posts are the same for everyone.

I guess I get that. Makes sense in the long run however, like I said, I followed last seasons wagering league and I didn't see a single prop bet. But a bunch of people trying to hit 5-leg parlays...

Also, most lines don't get better, they get worse. I doubt that +325 gets any higher, more than likely it will end up lower.

and not to be a **** but shouldn't most of this be in the rules?

It does say this in that rules link

"For Prop bets when you place the bet use the 5 dimes column and those will be the odds for you and anyone else that wants to bet that prop bet."

@massa, I think I made a couple props last season but I don't know if I hit any. I think you generally see more parlays for a couple reasons: 1) The spreadsheet parlay bonuses can add up if you hit the longer ones (10k bonus for a 10 fight parlay), 2) The only prop bonus is 1k for hitting one, 3) Props and straight up bets are counted the for other bonuses, and 4) I think most have had better luck in terms of ROI on parlays (and I hate picking a fight correctly but getting nothing because I was wrong on method/round).

That being said, I'm making props again haha

@ripple I agree. Props appeal to one's sense of probability  which is always dangerous. I hit one one branch last season I believe but cannot remember another. I seem to do better when I don't parlay or prop. Doesn't stop me swinging for the home run on 5+ parlays though...

Props are for wild lines....like Edwards in round 1 being +300 when its his ONLY way of winning that fight....

You could parlay every underdog and still barely get over +1000 for your trouble...whereas Neal in round 3 is +1000. So for a $200 you could make 2g's in 1 bet with NO risk....but you guys would rather sit around biting your nails hoping 3-4 more fights go exactly how you expect for a couple thousand more? *** am I missing?
