Is it secret ... ? Is it safe ... ?

UFC 214 is the card of the year on paper. Let's hope it delivers.

Prelims kick off on UFC Fight Pass at 630pm ET before switching to something called FXX at 8pm. PPV main card, as always, kicks off at 10pm.

Enjoy!

@Bigj383 I would be okay with a draw, scoring the 2nd 10-10 since no one did anything really significant that round.... but I don't get it why would you award that round (and consequently the fight), to the fighter who just circled out of danger for 10 straight minutes.

Hopefully will be much  better than the previous fight.....

The judges really liked that last second td in the 2nd for Brooks imo despite Shelton getting a td and longer control right before that last minute td.I'm pretty indifferent to that decision the 2nd was really close but if I had to pick i'd say Shelton landed more and had a more significant td but like always the judges love the last second td's,flurries etc.Sugar Ray Leonard style.

Abul was dominated the striking and then pulled guard. ***

I'd be perfectly fine with 28-28. Really fun fight to watch. Albu needs to work on her defense in a big way though.

May be too little too late for Curran. She took the 3rd but it might not be enough.

I'm okay with that decision, I had Albu winning rounds 1 and 2. You could argue 10-8 for Curran in the third under the new rules, but that's fine either way. Good fight.

Albu may be too strong for her own good, cardio played a big role on that third round, as she was waaay too tired. She also needs to stop pulling guard, that's just dumb. Curran needs to improve her striking defense, though. Albu was spawning those left crosses and landing at will everytime.

Super fun fight.

I was cool with the decision but it absolutely could have been a 10-8 third round.I have a bad habit of overestimating fighters improvements with time off instead of gauging someone by their last fight especially these young up and comers.

I put a lot less stock in Albu's potential than I did before but that was a brutal and fun fight and maybe now that she's done with school those improvements will come faster. That guard pull was kinda dumb and her defense is just horrible but damn she's fun to watch.Feel bad for Curran she's a warrior and will probably be cut now.
