Woodley is a massive welterweight, I doubt Demian can take him down, he has to win a scramble and get on his back or get on top. Even then, Maia needs to finish that round or what are the chances he gets him in a dominate position again? Not that likely. I like Woodley to finish.

Horrible match up for Maia sadly but hey, who knows with the human backpack.. curious to see if he can manage to do something.. If he gets the back of Woodley at some point, i can see him finishing that RNC quite easely (way harder to defend for a guy full of muscles with a morphology like Tyron) but the hardest part of it will be to take that back..

Only way I see Maia winning is my climbing on his back.

Get that title Maia

Maia deserves it after all the work he's put in over the years, from 185, down to 170. Really evolving his game exponentially.

Stylistically this could get ugly for Maia and I can't believe 35% of people are picking him. I don't wanna call this a subber's chance, but that's almost what he has in this match up against Tyron.

I make Woodley favourite but how dangerous Woodley is decreases over time far faster than how dangerous Maia is. Maia only needs one trip or mistake to make Woodley look as outclassed as Condit was. Of course the reverse is true, one mistake and Woodley can punch Maia's head into row Z. If Woodley fails to knock out Maia though I definitely back Demian.

tyron is more than willing to put on a boring fight in order to minimize mistakes, the question is really how effective he can be when someone finally wants to wrestle with him. shields controlled him and kelvin had success too so this may not be as cut and dry as i initially thought. gonna stick with woodley and say that he makes this one even more boring than his last 2, but i'd love to be proven wrong regardless of who it's by.

Tyron has many flaws. Gasses, breaks, I can see Maia surviving and successfully navigating the striking and finding his opportunity to impose his grappling. Probably a sequence that ends in RNC.
