We apologize that we haven't been able to invest much time in improving the forums, which has led to declining forum participation.

But you clearly don't understand how big this website has gotten.  Every day, more and more people switch to Tapology as their preferred fight database.

Much to your disappointment, it won't be going away for a long, long time.

Is there anything we the members of tapology can do to fix it? Like I said before, I would be willing to give money to the site so you guys can overhaul the forums. I am sure many others are willing to help as well so we can have like a Xenforo based format for the forums.

From my network in the MMA community (both Israel and California) I can tell you Tapology is stronger than ever. Fighters, promoters and fans are referencing Tapology more than ever before.

We've had this thread at least 10 times already. The forum is indeed not even remotely close to what it used to be, but that's mainly because it's currently not the prime focus.

I believe that when all the cool things being done now are finished, the forums will too get their face lift and fine tuning and become great again.

Unfortunately, I have been unable to participate as much as I used to, but this is due to things going on in my life. I haven't left Tap in favour of another site because I fully believe that Tap is the best MMA site out there. The work that Gregory and the gang have done is fantastic and you especially notice it when you visit every other week like I have been doing. I hope I can be more active once my life settles down a bit.

With that said, it would be interesting to see the visitor stats Gregory, but more so for seeing what countries are the most popular (outside of the US and Canada) and the demographics of the visitors. I understand though if you wouldn't want to make them public.

I think the popularity of posting on MMA forums are down everywhere.

I'm glad this site is doing well overall.

Its has a great database.

This site is definitely the best place out there to use as a database for information on fighters and upcoming events, and one of the best to make picks on. The only aspect of this site that needs to be improved is forum participation.

The forums need to be proper before it will attrach more people to use it. It's clunky, needs sub-sections instead of just a long page of unorganized threads. Plus there should be a game section.

Yeah, what Mikey said is what a lot of us have been saying about a game section. I think that's probably a small fix that would really help participation. Not trying to imply you guys don't have a lot on your plate with the database part of Tapology. It's really coming along well and I know a lot of fighters reference it.

Tapology can never leave. Pls. I legit don't use any other site for MMA-related things. Not as active on the forums as I once was, I've had a bunch going on, but I'm trying to get back into things. With that being said, I still use Tapology - legit - daily, for one reason or another.

I signed up for this website a few weeks ago. I only found out about the forums today. A little bit about me: I became a fight fan 3.5 years ago; I have no friends who like MMA in real life or online, I'm not on Twitter, I barely use Facebook, so I really have never had a place or opportunity to discuss MMA before.

Maybe the forums aren't that lively right now, I don't know, but "shut er down?" I hope not, I need them.

Tapology is alive I Just dont discuss too much on here i use it for a database like the dude said above. I chat about mma with my locals and a couple online places. this is for looking up data for me.
