Read that earlier today.  While I like both signings, I really question how that is going to work considering how both are play by play guys (with Mauro, imo, being the better of the two)?  Will you do a three man booth or have Goldy do PPV's and Mauro do all the Spike events?  It just seems like an awkward position.  At least if they had signed Goldy and Quardros, for example, they could have Quadros be color since he can't do play by play at all now without coming off disinterested and lethargic.

I just hope this isn't the end for Grande doing MMA play by play.  For a guy that had only called play by play for Celtics basketball prior to his time with Bellator, he did pretty good all things considered.

I doubt that's the case They don't have enough PPVs to do that. They could just alternate. Or they could just do a 3-man team. They had two PBP in Strikeforce w/ Mauro and Gus Johnson. Albeit, it wasn't great, because Gus Johnson was ass, but still. Could work much better with Mauro and Goldie.

lol Goldie and Mauro on the mic together will be really funny I'm sure. 

I'm glad Goldie is back.  A few UFCs ago when Rogan referenced Renzo vs Oleg, Cruz and Cormier had no idea what he was talking about. I was bummed Goldie wasn't there. Goldie would have remembered Renzo vs Oleg.

Per Josh Gross, Mike an Mauro won't call the fights together. Goldberg will call the fights and Ranallo will work the desk.

Personally I prefer Mauro doing the play-by-play over Goldberg. I would have just signed him, but I'm sure with his Showtime gig he has some conflicts.

I like it, I love that scorned UFC employees are going to Bellator/Rizin.

UFC really dropped the ball not having them both. I've wanted Mauro with Rogan and Goldie for awhile. I kinda hope Mauro leads more in the direction of MMA than wrestling commentary.

@Green, 

From the looks of it, Jimmy Smith will be the Color Commentator and Mauro + Goldie will both be on Play by Play. Goldie probably doing the more robotic advertisement stuff and saying "It's all over!!" where are Mauro will be calling more of what's going on in the fight as he is more knowledgeable than Goldie. I think it's a interesting dynamic actually.
