In all reality that was hard to watch because we all know that deign can't fight at this level anymore but we have UFC still letting him get destroyed so they can make a buck

2-1 Cub, starting to take over. But still wild and unimpressive if you ask me.

Nice performance by Cub.  I have to say, while I am not a fan of him, Lobov impressed me.

Agreed with the general consensus. Brilliant performance by Cub and I'd love to see him fight the winner of Aldo and Holloway. I have a hunch they'll give it to Yair if he beats Frankie, so if you want Cub to get a title shot, you'd best be rooting for Frankie on May 13.

Lobov has limitations, but he's tough as nails and sneakily technical. I enjoyed watching the fight and I think he can be a mainstay in the Top 20 at 145 for a while.

I actually disagree with the consensus. I saw a very mediocre and flawed performance by Cub. All of his striking holes were exposed again, he was being outstruck by a slower, less athletic guy who's supposedly 40 spots below him in the rankings and has stubs for arms while they were both at full gas tank, he was his usual wild self.

Not that I blame him, these fights are super tricky, and Artem, though not on Cub's level (or close to it) is one of those guys who makes his opponents look worse than they really are because he's a persistent little ******. Most guys start fading mentally when being beaten on and though he faded physically, he was always there mentally. I just can't get on this "oooh, what a great fight by Cub" train. I've seen MUCH better Cub Swanson performances.

All in all, it was a very mediocre card from a technical stand point. If it weren't for Brandon Moreno I'd almost regret staying up all night to watch it. Almost.

Just my opinion of course, and I'm in a vast minority so I accept that I may be wrong.

Cub looked exactly where he is, Top 10, nothing more, not championship or title shot material. Does not deserve a title shot against either Aldo or Holloway as he was destroyed by both.

Yeah, I have to go with the more cynical people here. Cub showed a lot of holes in his game still and seemed to let Lobov off too easy several times, especially on the takedowns(didn't try to headkick Lobov when he got up even though Lobov looked open to it too). And I don't really see him deserving a title shot for beating a not-close-to-ranked guy. He's on a good run but Choi's the only guy he beat who might be top 10 and IDK if a title shot is justifiable when he has unavenged losses by finish to every single person above him.
